Now coming to episode 2,it was fast paced and gripping.I enjoyed it very much.

Daghan 's scenes were heart touching. The court may have declared him innocent but the society won't.This stigma will continue to haunt him. There is a sense of hopelessness as if all the ways are closed. This reminded me of Kuzey from Kuzey Guney who faced a somewhat similar situation after getting released from prison.

I agree with him to some extent. As long as the actual culprits are roaming free, justice won't be served.

I know I have said this many times but I will still say it.Engin was mindblowing. He portrayed Daghan 's mental and emotional condition so effortlessly. He was flawless. He will make the audience feel for Daghan.

I felt that Selvi 's technique of giving him a reality check was a bit harsh.Thr question still continues to linger. Is she doing all this out of guilt or to save her brother and herself?? Maybe it's a bit of both.More of the former I believe.

She is haunted by her conscience.I know the damage which she did to Daghan is irreparable. And maybe helping him to have a better life is her way of seeking redemption. But her actual test will come when she finds out that it was none other than her own brother who pulled the trigger. What will she choose?? Her brother or justice??

Fahriye was awesome.Especially in the scene with the police officer. She makes a badass lawyer. And she is extremely smart too.

Now coming to our mastermind Ender. He is extremely shrewd and cunning. He had planned everything beforehand. His scene with his mom tells her that he has a past story too.Looks like all the characters have their own baggage.
Ender is worried about Daghan being free.He is a bit scared too I guess.

Sarp excels as Ender.Honestly even though I liked him a lot in Little Lord,I had never imagined he could play a negative character in such a perfect manner. But he impressed me.

Also there is the scene with Beril where he slaps the harsh and brutal truth on her face.He was cold and ruthless. He did not flinch. But needless to say that everything he said was absolutely true.

Then comes Beril. What can I say about her??Yes,I felt bad for her earlier when she lost her love. But now I have zero sympathy for this lady. She gave her own child away for adoption and now she wants it back. What for?? Does she think that she and Daghan will reunite and live happily ever after??She was completely selfish in that matter. Also for all these years she had no idea what Daghan 's family had to go through.I know that Daghan had supposedly murdered her father but she had bonded with his family before that. They had accepted her as one of their own.So just out of decency couldn't she keep a track of them to see what problems they had to face?? And she could have helped them too for she certainly has the money and resources to do so.She could have also raised her child. But why bother to do so??Right??

The last scene I guess is a ploy by Selvi' brother to convince Daghan that the witness Vildan is no more so that he diverts his attention from the witness.

I just can't wait for the next episode.❤️

(I think that brother isnt going to last long 😆 Ender or his henchman cum chauffeur may kill him when Daghan starts getting too close to the truth, thus making the choice easy for her)

(Even I had thought he will be sticking to romcoms n stuff but he makes a good villain 👍🏼 and he has reduced a bit from his LL days I think.)

Money was not an issue. Ender was ready to accept it. Guess she didnt want the responsibility of raising a child or maybe she didnt want to raise Daghan's child whom she believed had killed her father. Whatever the reason, it doesnt justify or excuse what she did. And why does she want the kid back now? To dangle it as bait & make Daghan take her back so that her biting conscience can rest?🤢 and jo khudke bacche ko nahi sambhal paayi wo daghaan ki fly ko kya sambhalegi)

Finally watched Episode 2.
Since everyone here has already reviewed it, I will just add some points.

To start with, I am riveted by the atmospherics of this show. There is no 'sweet-washing' or rose-tinting here. The mood is designed to be dismal. The director doesn't seem to be in a rush to hurry the frames along. Each character's turmoil is given ample space.

I should have guessed they would give Vildan and her brother some back-story to redeem at least her in the viewers' eyes.

The scene where Daghan sits brooding by the seaside was so...Worli sea-face. It is a classic device used in countless Bollywood movies to show the character in an introspective mood. The examples which popped immediately to my mind were Rangeela, Munnabhai MBBS and Wake Up Sid.

The style of window grills on the apartments' ground floors was again so Mumbai-ish.

The man complaining about his electricity bill was again a very desi flavour. 😆

I could rave and rave about Engin, and it wouldn't be enough. His agony in the prison cell, interspersed with flashes of his first time there, sucked me right into Daghan's internal darkness and terror. What does this guy do to make us feel all protective about his characters?

I don't have much to say about Beril, except that she is one self-centered woman. Her present avatar reminds me of a desultory page 3 society lady. I can't sympathize with her 'reawakened love' for Daghan.

(Did anyone else think Beril might have developed an eating disorder in Daghan's absence? Her skinny physique, plus the bingeing on ice-cream, might be indicators.
And off-topic...what's with those pouty lips on Gulcan, and closer home, on the likes of Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon? Could such lips really be natural?)

Sarp is turning out to be a revelation. As Ender, I would love to hate him, because what he has done is unpardonable. And yet, I can't help feeling for his unrequited love for Beril. He is clearly crazy about her. After Fatmagul, this is another Turkish drama which is showing us the human side of villains.

Fahriye, still as promising as she looked in Episode 1. Though I compared her to Preity earlier, now I feel she resembles Sonakshi quite a bit. 😛

The almost-kiss was a cherry on the cake. Now I am waiting for a scene where we see Daghan laugh again. 😳

Episode 3 - Olene Kader
Without going much into the details...

There was no deterioration in the story telling/direction in spite of the fact the the director has changed. All our concerns should be put to rest now :)

The wild goose chase has begun. There are bound to be hits n misses.

The grave mystery continues.

Daghan and Selvi become spies...but Selvi seems to be engrossed...we know why!! LOL

There is a dysfunctional family in every drama. It belongs to Ender's here.

Ender's sister Sahika will shoot from Beril's shoulder? Go to wait n watch.

And did Daghan pull of the kiss from Beril...manh you have to watch this scene ...for a trick or treat.

Like any hero...Daghan would go down in initial few rounds...but the winner takes it all.

Enjoy the episode and share your thoughts.

Cheers

Hi Defleppard,
Watched the episode. I forgot the link to the site where they had english subtitles.

So Fakhri shot Daghan?

How will Daghan forgive Selvi once he comes to know her truth?

The age difference between Daghan and Selvi must be big no?

The scene where Daghan goes to drop Selvi at home is cute.

Am just worried that Daghan will get back with Beril once he comes to know their child is alive. Am rooting for Daghan- Selvi!

>> I am waiting for EAUFC sub titles on Amara.

So Fakhri shot Daghan?
>> thats the suspense dear :)

How will Daghan forgive Selvi once he comes to know her truth?
>> Poor Daghan is in for a roll coster ride when the truth unfolds...either ways with Beril or Selvi!!

The age difference between Daghan and Selvi must be big no?
>> He was 23-23 when convicted, she was 12 years old then. So they have 11-12 yrs of age difference
The scene where Daghan goes to drop Selvi at home is cute.
>> Yup...she looks like kid in a candy store in front of him. Or a fangirl moment in front of your fav. Rock star/actor etc. Lol
Am just worried that Daghan will get back with Beril once he comes to know their child is alive. Am rooting for Daghan- Selvi!
>>Ok! I am invested in Daghan...and whatever be his happiness, his journey :)
Beril & Selvi are having same amount of guilt/falsehood in them. The sooner they reveal the truth, they earn Daghan's trust...which need not be love :)

Hey...I have replied inline.
This doesn't look like an ordinary story with a happy ending to me.
This could be very different from what Engin has done in the past...for a big risk taker that he is!!
Hoping that I have not bursted your bubble...
Cheers
Happy watching OK
