The episode starts with Survi walking stoically in the corridor of hospital after finding Kartik's betrayal. Later, she returns home and finds her suitcases are packed, Jatin casually sitting. She asks him what the matter is. He answers as she'll live with Kartik from now on, he packed for her, adding that he won't come between two love birds. Survi throws the box away angrily them snaps him that he can just ask her to leave if she and her daughter are such a burden on him. Jatin is shocked, but pacifies her then asks what is wrong. She narrates everything. She is more distraught thinking what will happen if khushi finds out that kartik is using her as a bait for his evil motives. Right then, they see khushi standing and crying bitterly. She rushes to her and asks what happened. Khushi sobs that she had a nightmare about Kartik. She assures her that nothing will happen to him and she'll take her to him tomorrow morning. After khushi goes back to sleep, Survi tells Jatin that she'll never let Kartik snatch khushi away khushi, whatever costs it, she will stop him.
The next morning, khushi is all dressed to meet kartik. Meanwhile Jatin comes and asks her why she's dressed. She says that she wants to go to see Kartik now. Survi and Jatin tries to convince her to go later at evening, but khushi is being stubborn. Finally they give in. During breakfast, a courier comes from kartik, with the samples of wedding cards. Survi's face falls while khushi is overjoyed to see them, and compliments kartik. Survi thinks Kartik is still playing with her. She tells khushi to get ready quickly to meet Kartik uncle.
Here, Pyare asks Tai what's her plan. Tai discusses her plan regarding wedding and asks him not to ruin anything. Pyare agrees.
Meanwhile, khushi and survi arrive at hospital to meet Kartik. They both pretend not to know about each other's plans. Khushi greets him smiling and Survi also shows concern. Kartik gives a cold smile as well. khushi tells him her nightmare, hearing which, he asks her not to worry. She asks if he is hurting. He points to his cheek asking her to kiss there. Khushi does so then says that she's thought to spend the entire day with him. Survi thinks that Kartik is a big hypocrite, and is pissed off. khushi finds Kartik's bandage is off. She asks Survi to fix it. She says that she'll call the nurse. khushi says that she knows the way so she can do. Kartik agrees with her. khushi hides the water jug underneath the table while they are busy with bandage. They share an awkward eyelock during the task. He taunts her about her care while Survi thinks that he must keep his double standards to himself. When Survi turns to go, her dupatta gets stuck again. She turns around to takes it off, and then looks away. He starts talking about snakes and ladders that khushi brought, and indirectly hints at real life incidents. Tai with Riya and Rohit enters. Tai is tensed to see Survi and asks what's she doing here and goes on accusing her for Kartik's condition. Kartik asks her to stop. Survi says that she is right as what happened with him was her fault, so she is here to look after him. She asks Tai to go with the kids, so that she can feed. Tai says that she brought food so not leaving kartik. But when Kartik too asks her to go, she reluctantly goes taking the kids. When she is gone, kartik asks why she made food. Survi says that she did so that he recover soon, and she and Jatin can wed. She feeds him. When taking water, Kartik almost slips, and survi holds his head to give support. They stare at each other. When the moment breaks, he taunts whether she mixed anything in food. She says that she didn't and to prove that she eats herself. Kartik is assured and asks her to feed it with her own hands.
In the cafeteria, Tai and Pyare discuss what to do next as their plan to unnerve Survi with the wedding cards didn't work. In his cabin, kartik enjoys that survi is serving him. He asks for some water. She pretends to start looking around for water and then leaves. After she is gone, kartik gets down then rushes to water jug and gulps it all down, just then Survi re-enters catching him red-hand.
Precap: Kartik confesses that he wanted to get their marriage postponed by faking leg fracture. At the same moment, khushi comes and overhears the confession. She cries and lashes at him for lying to her that he'll get her parents married. Kartik kneels and apologizes but she says that he isn't a nice uncle, and she won't talk to him ever and that she hates him.
