Very interesting update dear . So many revelations are out. Manik binded himself in his imaginary world.😠Liked the bond between manik and navya. Even after seeing Nandini , he didn't reacted like the way he had to. He is still in his hallucination. He loves her so much that he stick to her angry words even in her absence. Now nandu need cabir, navya and doctor uncle's support to get back manik. And manik need Nandini's love and care to get back . Overall very emotional update dear. Hope soon manan will come close. CHAPTER 7
Nandhini, Navya and Cabir were driving back to home. Nandhini remembered everything RV uncle told her... even though her guilt had rose multiple level... what mattered the most right now is Manik getting well... she was determined to set everything right... her happy Manik will come back.. and it's the sole objective of her life now.
Navya : Nandhini I hope tum apne aapko sambalo... bhai needs you now..
Nandhini : I know Navyu... I will take care of him... I will wait for lifetime to get my Manik back but will never ever give up...
Cabir : guys we reached... nandhini bohot dher hogai... we have to go now... u please take...
Nandhini : Cabir!!!!!
Nandhini cut down almost screaming his name
Cabir and Navya look at Nandini startled but before they can ask anything she get down the car and run like maniac. Cabir Navya saw towards the house and their heart stopped for a second... Manik house was totally dark... they both rush behind Nandhini...
Navya ST : bhai ko andhere bilkul pasand nehi... aur ghar ko kabhi roshni bina nehi choda...kahi hum nandhini ko laake galti to nehi ki.. (assume they run pass the garden for like 2 minutes but 5 minutes if u walk...cabir parked the car bit far)
Nandhini opened the door and saw darkness engulfed the wholehouse that she cant even find te light switch. Navya came behind her. Since she is familiar in the house she walk to the switch and on it.
What they saw made the three numb. Manik was there... sitting in a corner of the house... hugging Nandhini's photo near to his heart. His tear stained face stabbed their heart. Cabir tried to reach him but Nandhini held his hand.
Nandhini request him by her eyes to let her this chance.. she was never there when he needed her.. now she is not gonna let any chance to be with him... as his medicine...his voice... and his love.
Nandhini walk in little steps towards him and sat beside him. With shaking hands she held his shoulder. Dark red puffy eyes opened and blankly greeted her.
Time froze for Manik. He look at her without blinking. Slowly his free hand touched her cheek. When Nandhini held his hand over her cheek... he hugged her tightly. No space for even air pass between them. Nandhini's petite body crushed him. She could feel his restlessness. None of them knew the reason but they know he needed Nandhini now.
Navya couldn't stop herself from approaching him. She patted his head while Nandhini made him calm down with her careses.
Navya : kya hua bhai??? Aapko to andhere pasand nehi na??? aap apni Nandhini ki ghar ko andhere kaise chodthiya?
Manik broke the hug and saw Navya and SMILED? With is puffy eyes is smile looked the most innocent gesture in this world. His eyes turned toward door and saw someone standing there. His smile faded and his face become blank
Nandhni and Navya saw teary Cabir there. Understanding his buddy's need he sadly walk away.
Nandhini want to kill herself for giving so much pain for these people. She eyed Navya to be with Cabir and Navya rushed behind Cabir. Nandhini wanted to know what happened to Manik first.
Nandhini : manik... Manik theko mujhe... kya hua ha?? Why are you sitting in darkness???
Manik kept looking at her
Nandhini : apni Nandhini ko bhi nehi btaogi?
A slight smile reached his lips. He cupped her face like capturing her every feature in his eyes. Nandhini could not understand his gesture. But she helped him to stand and took to couch.
Manik still smilling sat beside Nandhini not leaving his grip on her hand.
Nandhini : kya hua Manik??? Humse naraaz hai???
Manik shook his head and suddenly placed his head on her lap and hugged her tight by her waist. Nandhini could feel him smilling even though his face is buried in her stomach. Not knowing what to do, she slowly ruffled his hair. His smile grew broader and his hands tightened around her waist.
Few minutes passed and now Nandhini can feel his steady breath on her stomach, tickling her. He was sleeping paacefully. Her hands never stopped ruffling his hair.
She keep on looking at door waiting for Navya.
Nandhini ST : atleast Navya ko kuch to pta hogi... but Navya herself looked shocked... is this the first time Manik behaved like this??? If yes than what's the reason??? Kya meri vajase...
Suddenly her hands stop moving... the whole tension left her body when realization hit her. A bright smile broke on her lips... she wanted to scream in happiness.
Nandhini ST : kya main sochrai hu vahi hai??? Aiyappa thank you... thank you so much...
Happy tears rolled down her cheeks. Before it can touch Manik Cabir catched it and look at her worried.
Few minutes before, Cabir was silently crying for his buddy. Navya hugged him from back and consoled him. Finally after few minutes he and Navya slowly walked inside the house. Cabir stepped inside when he saw Nandhini crying with Manik on her lap fearing the worst he reached her.
Nandhini look at him and smiled with teary eyes. She gestured him to move Manik off her lap which he did reluctantly after he saw a serene smile on Manik's face but Nandhini wanted to share the news with them. They deserved to know this. Nandhini took them both to kitchen.
Once reached she hugged them tightly.
Navya : nandhini tum hume dararai ho... did u find what happen to bhai?
Nandhini nod her head
Nandhini : navya tujhe yaad hai jabhibhi main Manik ko chodke apne class jaana chati thi... manik hamesha meri lap mein sar ragke kehetha tha ki "Nandhini Im not gonna leave you anywhere." Yaad hai?
Cavya nod their head. Nandhini hold their hand and jump excitedtly..
Nandhini : Manik realized that im not his imagination...
They look at her not getting what she meant.
Nanddhini : arre... Manik abhi aisa kiya tha... socho agar uski imagination hui na... so I always with him na.. maybe after we left... he... he searched for me... jab usko apni illusoion Nandhini nehi mili...he become restless issiliye vo ghar ki light tak nehi kola because he could find Nandhini here and he didn't wanted to see anyuthing without me.. jab abhi abhi muje theka... he knew it was me.. so to tell me not to leave him..he did the same what he always do five years back.
Cavya stood there speechless knowing the new improvement in Manik. The always wanted this to happen. Manik realizing the truth. Now he did. And the happiest part is after the realization he is more than happy.. not sad or depressed like they thought he will be.. because today they have Nandhini with them. Tears flow continuously from their eyes. Cabir took them both in his embrace.
Cabir : thank you Nandhini... thank you so much... tum nehi hoti tho... thank you thank you thank you very much.
Nandhini : cabir meine kuch nehi kiya
Navya : nehi Nandhini ...tum nehi aati to aise dhin hum kabhi nehi thekthe. Thank you.
Nandhini hugged them tighter. Suddenly they heard movement and they knew Manik was awake
Navya sighed sadly: bhai never slept for long. He has to take sleeping pills. Daily before I leave... I will keep one pill beside his drawer... aaj itne emotionally tired honeke baojut bhi he couldn't sleep.
Nandhini heard all this.. she knew she cant change all in one day. But right now Manik will search for her. Nandhini showed them Manik who was restlessly looking around. They asked her to go and she did.
Once Manik saw Nandhini he hugged her.
Nandini : manik mujhe bhook lagi hai...kaane khale?
She saw Navya and Cabir leaving and lead Manik to kitchen and made some pasta for him while he look at her without blinking. Nandhini smiled at him and feed him with her own hand. After feeding him she cleaned the whole house. Manik didn't even let her far from his sight. If Nandhini who the business world know right now, encountered such thing, she would have blasted like volcano but here she was simply Nandu who is happy with the attention Manik giving her though she know there is long way for her to get the REAL Manik MAlhotra back.
Nandhini : Chalo Manik... sare kaam katam. Muje na bohot neend aarai hai (yawning and stretching her body)
Manik smiled seeing her and dragged her to his... their room. he helped her lay down and put blanket on her then settled himself beside her after having his sleeping pills. Nandhini watched his each n every move.
Nandhini ST : I got my hope Manik. If u can accept the difference just with 24 hours them im sure bohot jaldi main tumhe teek kartoongi... I will beg for u to forgive me after tat but will never ever leave ur side. Bohot satayana tumhe. Ab hamari duniya main sirf hum honge.
And she smiled to herself and widen her hands for Manik. Understanding her wish he snuggle close to her embrace and slept within minutes. Nandhini kept ruffling is hair when suddenly her mobile vibrate in her pocket.
Nandhini whispering to herself : uffo main bhi na. mobile ko nikalna boolgaya. Acca hua ki Manik wont wake up due to sleeping pills.
She pull out er mobile and the caller ID made her numb, it was Nandini's turn for a reality check. She was no more a carefree teenager. Now she is the CEO of MA Industries. She have responsibilities. But can she leave her life once again just for her responsibility? Clearing her mind of unwanted thoughts she came out of Manik's tight hold and attend the call.
Nandhini : yes Maan... NO...Im totally fine... What did u tell her... errrmmm... actually I cant tell u anything right now .. sochlo im on my long vacation... don't worry abt that... I have cleared the issue on first day itself...just need to supervise the improvements... Stella can do it for me...Maan u just calm down... main theek hu...infact I never been this good ever in my life... what???... no... main to vaise ki vaise hi hu... how can I hide anything from you... ok... bye...n take care of Amma... ok... Good night.
And she ended the call. And look back at Manik wo is tossing and turning , searcing for her warmth. She immeadiately run to the bed and take back her previous position which calmed Manik in seconds.
Nandhini : Neend main bhi main hi use chen thesakti hu... Am I doing the right thing by not telling Maan anout Manik... but what if he didn't understand. Agar Manik se mujhe alag karthiya to... hum dono jee nehi payenge.. aur Manik... I cant break his trust... first I have to think about him...
She tighten her hold on Manik which seem to be giving Manik his long lost peace. Both souls slept in each other arms...one determined and another... simply want to be loved.
Next Monring
Manik's life never been this cheerful for the past 5 years. Nandhini's cheerful voice break thru the Khamoshi of his home... their home... Navya and Cabir greeted with delicious aroma of food. Even though Cabir stayed at the garden itself he couldn't stop himself from peeking inside the kitchen. To all their surprise it was not Nandhini who was cooking. The Great Manik Malhotra was making dough for paratha while the lady of honor sitting on kitchen slap finishing her milk shake like a little girl.
Navya : so not fair bhai... aap ne kabhi mereliye aisa nehi banaya... her eyes darted towards the dining table... wow...iyeha koi party chaldrai hai kya... spageti... pasta... aloo sabzi... aur bhai ab paratha bhi banarai hai...hamari bina party???!!!!!! hum aap donose katti..
She turned her back towards them faking her anger. Cabir shook his head at his cute shona's attics... this is what made him fall for her... but it was no longer in their life... nandhini's arrival not only cure Manik but also bcm the light of everyone related to Manik.
Nandhini : manik... y am I smelling something burning... ooo... Navyu tum jaldrai ho kya???? Aww my poor baby... now that u become angry we have throw the chocolate cake we made for her... how sad na Manik...
Navya : what?????? Dare u throw away the cake...kaha hai... Bhai makes the best... how much I missed it... kaha hai yaar...
Manik grinned looking at the two groen up kids and show the cake to Navya. What followed was series of cake fight. Some going inside them and rest on them... accidently Nadhini throw the cake on Cabir who was peeking from the kitchen window.. the three stand still not knowing wat to expect from Manik. Nandhini approached Cabir for lending some help when suddenly her hand hit the edge of the kitchen slap which was sharp enough to bleed her hand. Navya get hold of Nandhini's hand and rinse it in water while Cabir jump inside the kitchen not really realizing what he was doing. The husband wife duo started to aid her injury which was thankfully small.
Nandhini : guys calm down its ok... zyatha chot nehi laga. Manik... navya Manik kaha hai????
All three start to search for him. When the finally found him sitting on his bedroom looking at her painting. Navya and Nandhini silently approached him.
Nandhini : manik???? Tum theek ho... she asked with a lump in her throat thinking tat Manik again went inside his shell after looking at her blood.
Manik turned at directly pull her by her hand and start to inspect the injury on other hand... navya and Nandhini stood confused of his behavior. Suddenly he pull her in his embrace and to the shock of Navya Nandhini and Cabir... silent tears start to roll down his cheeks. Cabir couldn't stop himself from hugging his yaar. As if Manik decided to give them series of shock, he pulled Cabir more into himself...just like Nandhini. navya was overwhelmed by the serene look on Cabir's face. She know how much Cabir yearned for this moment.. and finally its here even though none of them realize te reason of it.
They felt Manik going limp in their hug and balanced his body with their hold. Laying him on bed Navya called Dr RV. He reached there in 30 minutes.
Dr : kya hua... u guys never called me urgently... vo bhi Manik ki ghar mein.
Nandhini narrated the whole incident. At the end of her narration they see a faint smile reaching Dr's face which grew steadily to a genuine smile.
Dr : u made it Nandhini...
Nandhini: uncle????
Dr : manik is getting better... na koi thavai... na koi shock treatment... as I told u all he needed was ur presents in his real world...
Cabir : uncle please we are dying to know the reason of his behavior
Navya : when bhai fainted in their arms... I thought everything was finished... but his smile that never left his lips even in unconciuos state somehow manage to gather our hope.
Dr look at the young generation infront of him. People thought this generation only care about money. The don't realize the worth of relations,. But now... infront of him stood those people who even dare to give away their life for the only soul that kept them binded.
Dr : as u guys already know kal raat Manik realised that Nandhini is not an illusion... and the reason can be anything but as much as I can see here..,. the cause is Nadhini's tears... nandhini u hv to understand... in Manik's illusion you was simply the smiling Nandhini who never left his side. So all he encountered was ur smiling face. But when he felt ur tears... he knew something was not as usual. Then today. He must have convinced himself that u r still his illusion kyunki tum phirse vahi hasi Nandhini bangayi.. maybe ur convo with Navya made him realize the diff bcs his illusion Nadhini never talk with Navya... as much as accepting Cabir... Manik's biggest problem is his insecurity that everyone will eventually leave him... now he is scared that accepting anyone in his life can destroy his life with Nandhini. navya is Nandhini's friend so accepting her was no problem... but others...u understand right what am I trying to tell?? ...
Getting nods from them he continued
Dr : so when Nandhini was hurt Cabir protected her... he cared... so ab Manik ki duniya mein tum bhi aagayai ... bcs he realize that u will never separate him... he is truly a insecure kid... the last sentence was hardly audible but Nandhini heard it and also saw the lone teatr that he try to hide..
Nandhini : but uncle how can u be so sure that this is the reason... it can be anything else
Dr smile at her : beta I dint say im sure about my teory... but I have handled Manik not since last 5 years but for 20 years... not only for u all... Manik is a vital lifeline for me also... he is nothing less than my own child. His mental state is equivalent to my life long memory so u can trust me on this.
Nandhini nodded and suddenly she spoke like lightning struck her : that's why he was sitting in our bedroom so that he can see his smilling Nandini not the one who was hurt and bleeding.. but when he was sure that Im really hurt he got another surety of my existence in real world...
Navya and Cabir gasped. Dr smiled and nod at her.
Cabir : but fainting...???
Dr : humans are capable of handling stress on their mind only upto a certain level depending on their mental state. It was a overwhelming day for Manik... jab uske mind use handle nehi karpaya his body reacted in a way that can save him from further stress. Some people faint... some other may even get panic attack...so im glad that he fainted ... its sign that his mind is progressing the incidents. But Cabir I still advice u to be careful around him.. as much as his unconscious mind wanting u by his side... he is scared of letting u inside his world...
Looking at their simply nod he thought its tme for them to have teir own convo : ok kids I have to go now...Manik will take atleast couple of hours to get conscious... so take care of him
After Dr left.. Nandhini, Navya and Cabir digested the speedy process of Manik's recovery.
Nandhini : cabir... I want to ask u something... what... I mean what happen to rest of Fab 5
Cabir chuckled and say : u didn't really get the time for our favourite google mama. Did u??? dhruv is a famous guitarist... all around the world... mukti to ab racing bhi shuru karli... Aliya... u wont believe Aliya is a fashion designer. Duniya ki ar ek koneme hai hamara sher aur sherniya... and me myself the Dhawan... is owner of YR radio station with my wife being the fav RJ of India. That's it.
Cabir finished dramatically that succeed in bringing a small smile on Nandhini's pale face.
Nandhini : cabir I didn't ask what happen to Dhruv, Mukti, Aliya and You... but what happen to Fab 5? Tum log uss concert ke baath kabhi singing nehi ki... only rumors spread abt u guys being playback singers in abroad... I know I shouldnt ask this... but kya hua?
Cabir signed and dropped his sholuders : we decided...that either we sing as Fab 5 or will never ever sing... dhruv being the guitarist never sang any song not even in chorus... after Manik's accident we all break like shattered glass... his voice lose came like a blow for us. Then Navya's revelation abt ur words... we took months to digest this. Somehow we all accept it was not ur intentional mistake. U did a mistake and we understood it.. but Mukti... none can stop her from hating u... im sorry Nandhini but she nearly wished u never entered our life. Aliya and Dhruv decided. They became one due to you both and unless u both are one they will never think of their future. That made Mukti even more angry at you. We all still meet... 6 times a year... fab 5's each birthday celebrated at Space... and also the day of Manik's accident we become each other's shoulder to cry. They all know that u r here. Though Mukti is not happy but she dare to give u a chance for Manik.
By now Nandhini was crying like a toddler : main sach me bohot buri hu na... mukti is right... I deserve to be hated... I know it was my mistake but hiding from everyone about my whereabouts was my biggest sin...only if u all could reach me earlier... aach... aach manik better hota..
Navya : shh Nandhini everything will be alright... now u r here na... that's wat counts... thekna once Bhai gets well... he will make everyone fall in love with our lovely nandini... hai na Cabir
Cabir wipped his own tears n smile cheerfully : exactly... mere behena se koi naraaz rehesakte ai kya... but Nandhini ... thank you
Nandhini and Navya didn't need any explanation for that Thank You...they three end up in a grp hug...
After Cavya's departure... nandhini replied some of her official emails and go through some agreements. She couldn't neglect it knowing her absent in business can only worsen her stay at India. She snuggle close to Manik's warmth at night. The only place the lost souls find their destination of the day.
The day was not the happiest but definitely the H of happy was there.. they know the day was not far away when they can finally hear their loved one's voice.
