Punjabi Film Industry was stagnant in Lifetime Collections from a long period. Highest Grosser Of industry in 2006 was Dil Apna Punjabi with gross Of 5cr. It Was Jatt & Juliet In 2012 that Doubled the Figure. Next was Chaar Sahibzaade In 2014 that doubled the figures.

Diljit Dosanjh dominates the list with 5 Films (3 ATG, 4 ATBB & 1 BB), while next are Gippy & Amrinder Gill having 2 films each.

From Double Digit 10+ Cr Gross to 20+ Gross, now with Sardaarji 2, industry is hoping to have 1st 30+ Cr Grosser. Superb growth in industry now.

Sardaarji 2 looks run of the mill. But might still do well because it's a sequel. 

Shahid's loud character has put me off UP. It's not my kind of movie .

Daljeet was good in trailer. Can't guess much if I don't know background of his previous work.

A lot of people on forum raved about Daljeet when movie was announced, so he must be good.

Even i never expected Sardaarji to be Biggest ATG / ATBB kind of success film, it's good laugh riot, definitely not diljit's the best from his 5 films out thr, but somehow audience loved it like anything.

CS 2 will have next phase of that story, The Legend of Banda Bahadur SIngh, desciple of Guru Gobind SIngh, it was coz of him Mughal Empire started falling in 1709.

Heard he took the revenge by defeating Wazir Khan & established Khalsa Raj. 

I am waiting for Chaar Saahibzaade-Rise of Banda Bahadar ...I loved Chaar Saahibzaade
