PART 23 :
Feeling ticklish nandu opens her eyes slowly rubbing them slightly and crings her eyebrows the very next second seeing herself covered in his shirt and "ye...shirt...maine rath ko tho nahi pehni thi..!!!"
suddenly feeling ticklish again she lowers her head and bites her lower lip seeing manik sleeping on her stomach holding her tightly snoring a little looking as innocent as a two year baby while he lifts his head a little upwards facing towards her making her feel ticklish for zillionth time due to his hot breaths..!!!
"tho ye hain vajah...mere shirt ka aur...!!!" and she sighs staring him failing to look away while he nuzzles his nose a little making her hold his shoulders instantly doubting whether he is really asleep or not...!!!
Seeing no movement from his side even after few minutes she slowly moves her hand into his hairs ruffling them lightly and "kyu ho aise...ek pal...bas ek pal main sab badal dethe ho...!!!"
sighing she lies staring him not blinking her eyes for what seems to be an eternity but closes her eyes suddenly with a jerk seeing him move continuously only to nod her head opening her eyes again seeing him still happily asleep...!!!
slowly bending closer to him she brushes off his hair which was covering his forehead and moves a little more closer wanting to kiss his forehead but as if something hit her hardly she stops staring him without moving only to jerk back listening his words "kya hua"
Pushing him aside she gets down from bed without letting him catch her and runs into washroom with in a blink making him close his already closed eyes even more tightly...!!!!
"nandini...!!!" and manik utters as soon as she steps out of washroom while she without looking him walks towards side table picking up her cell which was ringing since long...!!!
"Ek baar meri" and manik stops seeing her sitting on bed talking to her mother and silently walks inside washroom sighing sadly having no other option left...!!!
Seeing her busily talking even after half an hour of his shower he directly walks to her snatching away the cell from her and "maa main apko phir call kartha hoon...!!!"
Ending the call without even letting his mother reply manik looks at nandu only to cring his eyebrows seeing her already walking away from him and "nandiniii...!!!"
"Bas panch minute main sab pack kar dungi" and she utters without looking him walking towards mirror while he holds her hand moving closer to her quickly and "nandini...tum...!!!"
"It's ok...tumhe explanation dene ki zarurath nahi hain...ham panch dino ke liye yaha aye the na...tho bas...ab gar jayenge aur tum apna kaam sambal lo...!!!" and she mutters cutting him off in between still not looking him while he sighing back hugs her placing his chin on her shoulder and "mujhe laga tum naraz ho...kal rath ki vajah se...!!!"
seeing her standing still he slowly turns her towards him and "ham gar nahi jare...aaj ke din tho bilkul bi nahi...!!!"
Lifting her head she stares into his eyes while he silently taking her to mirror applies sindoor on her mang all the time looking her through mirror surprising her to core..!!!
Turning her around he pecks her mang and slowly making her sit on bed he himself sits on his knees before her holding her both the hands surprising her even more...!!!
NANDINI : ye tum
MANIK : please...hamari bath hona zaruri hain...!!!
NANDINI : bath???
MANIK : darao math na aise dekhe
Rolling her eyes nandu tries to get up pulling away her hands while manik holds her tightly not letting her move and "zyada vakth nahi lunga...please...!!!"
NANDINI : jab bath karni thi thab tho tumne kuch nahi kiya tho phir ab kya kehna chahthe ho
MANIK : jaannn...am sry...am really really sryyy...!!!
NANDINI : nahi chahiye tumhari sry kuch aur kehna hain tho kaho nahi tho mujhe
MANIK : tum kyu gussa ho mujhpe
NANDINI : haa???
MANIK : kal rath thak tumne mujhse teek se bath bi nahi ki...kyu???
NANDINI : seriously...woww...main kya bolu...!!!
MANIK : sach
NANDINI : fine...main gussa nahi hurt thi...hurt thi kyuki mere pathi ke paas yani TUM MANIK MALHOTRA ke paas mere liye vakth nahi tha...
MANIK : ek baar main fab 5 ke sath music concert ke liye london gaya tha...yaad hain...!!!
NANDINI : tum akhir bath karna kya chahthe ho
MANIK : yaad hain ki nahi bas itna batao
NANDINI : haan...yaad hain...ek mahine ke liye gaye the tum...!!
MANIK : hmmm aur kya yaad hain
NANDINI : wo pehli baar tha jab ham ek dusre se dur the...maine tho tumhe itna miss kiya tha ki...!!!
MANIK : main vapas athe hi bina soche samje sab ke samne hug karliya...itne zor se ki main saas bi nahi le saka...!!!
Nandu remains silent while manik cups her cheek and "wo pehli baar tha jab tum mere itne karib aye...!!"
Nandu sits looking everywhere except him while he makes her look into her eyes and "thab main aur ab main hamare beech kya badla hain nandini...jo kushi ek mahine ke baad mujhe dekhne main tumhe uss din huyi wohi kushi hamari shadi ke baad mujhe tumhare paas dekhe tumhe kyu nahi huyi...tum wohi ho...main wohi ho...hamare beech ek mahine ki duri wohi hain...!!!"
NANDINI : rishtha badla hain manik...tum ab mere pathi ho...main tumhari patni hoon...!!!
MANIK : tho phir tumhari kushi tho dugni honi chahiye naa iss bath se...!!!
NANDINI : main kya bolu...tumhe kya lagtha hain...galthi meri hain...ki main tumhe miss karri thi...ki main...!!
MANIK : tch...nahi...nandini...main yaha kisi ki bi galath hone ke bare main bath nahi karra hoon...!!!
NANDINI : tho phir
MANIK : kal jab tumne mere cell pe draft msgs dekhe thabi tumhe vishwas hua ki main tumhe bhula nahi...haan ya na...!!!
NANDINI : haan lekin
MANIK : agar wo msgs nahi hothe tho phir
Nandu remains silent while manik kisses her palm and "nandini hamara rishtha badla hain...ham dosth se pathi patni ban gaye ye main samajtha hoon lekin tum please ye math bhulna ki ham vohi manan hain jo bachpan se ek dusre ko janthe hain...ek dusre par vishwas karthe hain...!!!"
He entwins their fingers staring into her eyes and "isse pehle bi main tumse dur gaya tha...music ki vajah se...tumse kayi din bath nahi ki...lekin thab tumne mujhpe shak nahi kiya...!!!"
NANDINI : main tumpe shak nahi karthi hoon...aaj bi...!!!
MANIK : tho phir kal rath dress pehen ke mere samne kar kya rahi thi
NANDINI : wo tho main...!!!
MANIK : jaan...sach kahu tho am happy...really really happy...kal tum sab mere attention ke liye karri thi...khud ko mere samne special bathane ke liye karri thi and i very well know that it was mrs manik malhotra who was here last night and not that nandini who wanted time to accept his friend as her soulmate
biting her lower lip she sits staring into his eyes listening each and every single word while he cups her both the cheeks leaving her hands and "jaan chahe kuch bi ho na hamare beech kabi misunderstandings nahi honi chahiye...wo msgs jo tumne dekhe the wo galthi se save ho gaye...jaan main kabi nahi chahunga ki hamare beech agar kabi koyi problem aye tho hame koyi proof ki zarurath pade thaki ham wo problem solve kar sake...ek dusre par vishwas kar sake...!!!"
NANDINI : aisa nahi hain
MANIK : jantha hoon...bas kehra hoon thaki aage bi koyi problem na ho...!!!
NANDINI : hmmm
MANIK : and about hurting you...let me just tell u maine intentionally kuch nahi kiya and infact har wo second tumhe miss kiya jab tum bi gar pe meri yaad main baitke rori thi...!!!
Nandu remains silent pouting at him while he smiling quickly pecks her and "tumhe hamari buri vali mahina vapas nahi de saktha hoon lekin ek promise zarur kar saktha hoon ki abse hamare beech aisi buri vali mahina kabi nahi ayega...!!!"
NANDINI : I don't believe u
"nandini dekho main kaam kiye bagair reh nahi saktha...u know tumne abi abi kaha ki hamara rishtha badal gaya hain...tum sahi ho...main ab tumhara sirf dosth nahi pathi hoon...wo pathi jo apni patni ke kadmon main sari duniya ko rakna chahtha hain...wo pathi jo apni patni ke ek ishare pe duniya bar ki kushiyon ki barsath karna chahtha hain...wo pathi jo apni patni aur aane vale apne parivar ke liye zindagi bar ki muskaan thofe pe dena chahtha hain...!!!" and manik utters with utmost sincerity while nandu wipes a lone tear cupping his cheek and "manikkk...!!!"
"ye sab karne main vakth lagtha hain wo mujhe der se samaj ayi aur hamare beech ye sab hua...lekin i swear ab mujhe akal agayi hain aur main aisi galthi phir kabi nahi karunga...!!!" and manik mutters pinching his throat while nandu makes him sit beside her and "it's ok manik...hamari bath hi nahi huyi tho mujhe laga...kair...ab tumne sab batha diya na tho bas...!!!"
MANIK : so apology accepted na
seeing his serious face nandu raises her eyebrows and "what apology"
MANIK : now everything is ok na hamare beech matlab we are
NANDINI : das minute bath karne se kuch teek nahi hotha manik
MANIK : kyaa
Getting up and turning away nandu shrugs trying to walk away smiling while manik noticing her smile pulls back her making her sit on his lap and "u sure na...!!!"
NANDINI : chodo mujhe...kya karre ho...!!!
MANIK : arey...bath karne se kuch teek nahi hoga yehi kaha tha na tumne tho kuch aur karne ki koshish karra hoon...bas...!!!
NANDINI : don't you dare haa
MANIK : dare what
NANDINI : don't even think about it
MANIK : about what
NANDINI : you know what
MANIK : jab tumhe bi patha hain...mujhe bi patha hain...tho der kis bath ki...!!!
NANDINI : rath ko promise kiya tha tumne
MANIK : haan wo tho meri tumhe rath ko na chu ne ki promise hain na
NANDINI : rath ko kya rath ko it implies in the mrn too
MANIK : oh but u haven't said it before na...kal rath ko...!!!
NANDINI : haan tho am saying it now na
MANIK : but it's waste of your time na
NANDINI : whattt...!!!
"shhh...do not disturb please...!!!" and he takes her lips into his kissing her softly falling back on bed planning how long to run his morning romance...!!!
