12. THE SECRET PATH: 1
"What do you mean?", Bharat stammered.
" Didn't you get any other place to stand?", Mandvi hissed.
"I guess no", Bharat grinned foolishly.
"Impossible", Mandvi stormed off.
Urmila turned around and saw Lakshman.

"Come on. Come on. Walk fast.", He heard Urmila as his feet soaked in the muddy water.
Lakshman managed awkwardly and wondered how this girl had gotten on the tree without staining her clothes.
He heard Urmila's laughter. She enjoyed every bit of his struggle.
He chose to ignore the same for a while as she was his concern then. Her anger, her sorrow and her disappearance had made him restless.
" What are you doing on the top of the tree?", Lakshman panted as he walked through the thick grass pushing the green aside by his hand.
"Sitting", she replied curtly.
" That I can see", he snarled.
"If you can then you are a fool to ask me such questions", she retorted.
" Oh please. You are a careless fool. There's a Puja today and here you are sitting enjoying the landscape.", he huffed.
"And what the hell it has to do with you? What are you doing here?", she sounded ignorant.
" I came to take you", he replied softly.
"Why?", her eyebrows raised up in perfect angles.
"Ummm. I felt like", he tried looking everywhere but her.
" Why? ", she asked again.
" Because you were upset", he replied sheepishly.
"Oh yes. I was. But see nobody cared.", she hung her head down in disappointed.
" I do", he replied unknowingly.
"Sorry?", his whisper reached her sharp ears.
" Nothing. Tell me how did you reach here without staining your clothes?"
"That's a secret.", she replied with an air of pride in herself.
" And what's that?", he asked even more foolishly.
"Be my guest. Figure it out yourself.", she smirked.

Their thoughts were interrupted as shatrughna cleared his throat.
The duo was out of thoughts as Sita stood with the aarti plate in her hands.
" Thank you Bhabhi", Lakshman said as she gave him the holy prasad.
Urmila brought out her hand but Sita ignored. This hurt the younger one even more.
Lakshman looked on.
