*Chapter 6*
The game was going well.Swayam had to talk to a gay guy , who was totally flattened by Sway, Vicky had to talk to a model friend of Sharon, Neha.Their talk went more than well, i won't be surprised if they start dating tomorrow.But when vicky gave me the number, the mischievous glint in his eyes was undeniable.I called on that number.
"You better have a good reason call me at this time"
Came a smooth silky voice, it was no secret that the voice belongs to a girl.
"Woah, beautiful voice"
I flirted with her.
"Another Flirt"
That two word syllable caught me off guard.It made me think about kriya.Not again!!! Her voice was nothing like kriya.Shaking my head, i tried clearing kriya from my mind.
" Well i like to appreciate the true beauty"
"Dude that's ridiculous.I might be a 40 years old lady with 2 children"
She sounded a bit grumpy and angry like kri...No no no Rey ,no more thinking about kriya.Focus on this one.
"Your voice is too cute too be a aunty's.If you were a vegetable then you would be cute- cumber"
i said my first pickup line.that girl should be blushing by now.
"That was so lame dude"
She said her voice not shy or anything but mocking.Okay this the second girl getting on my nerves.
"Dude that's kriya's new number"
Juno hissed ,disapproving tone hinting in his voice.
"What ?? It was our rule that we won't involve our girls"
Swayam said, eying vicky.
"Wait kriya's ??? Ohh freak instead of keira i gave him kriya's.But because of our rules , he would have to talk to her"
Vicky clarified and pretended to laugh.Swayam was ready to blow him off but juno stopped him and said
"let it be Sway.You continue rey"
So , no second girl is getting on my nerves, its the one and only ,Kriya Shergil.But she doesn't know that its me.Must take advantage of it .I grinned evilly.
"Lame?? you find it lame.Give my 5 minutes and you'll be my fan"
I said to her.
"Fan?? Dude Are you for real.I'll give you seven minutes.Let's see"
She was not in the usual brooding mode, it was like a different person.
I was a expert in pick up lines and girls were always ready to fall in my feets.I had pickup lines rehearsed .
"If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together"
It was the cutest one, i had.Kriya would be flattened by it.
"Funny, i would do the exactly opposite of that"
She countered back, definitely a hard nut to crack.
"Can I have directions? to your heart"
"No but my foot already have directions to your face"
" Do you have bees all over you?? cause your voice is sweeter than honey"
"If you want i can send those bees to you"
"I am not a photographer but I can clearly picture U and I together"
"Are you drunk???"
"No i am intoxicated by you"
"Your seven minutes are over.So good bye, hope to see u never"
She said back in her angry mode.I don't know why, seems like something happened.
"Bye, but you'll see me at tomorrows party"
I know this caught her attention but i purposely cut the call so as to leave her in confusion.
"What the hell was that??"
Swayam glared at Vicky and me.
"I told you , don't involve Kriya in all this"
"You are no one to control everything"
Vicky yelled st him.
Swayam and Vicky both glaring at each other, an unspoken rivalry glinting between them.I looked at Arjun for help but he was lost in his own world, thinking deeply about something.This is too much for me too handle.Vicky, Swayam and Arjun. Arghh!!.I went away from their leaving them on their own.I hardly had a peg but they were heavily drink, that might be the reason of that.

I was driving, it was half an hour after that incidence, Swayam tried to call me but i was too preoccupied to pick it up.Driving on the empty roads always make feel relaxed.Suddenly out of nowhere a car zoomed , to prevent clashing I turned the steering wheel and that car went straight into the tree.I got out of my car , to see the other driver.I see a figure coming out of the car.Kriya, i was shocked to see her.Her head was bleeding, so i rushed to her.
"Kriya ,you fine??"
"Rey??"
She questioned, her words slurred a bit.She was buzzed off.
"Did you drink??"
"Not much"
She answered truthfully.
"What are you doing here"
She looked around to emphasize on the empty , dark road.
"Driving here make me feel relaxed"
I answered but it was my turn to question her.I was curious inside.
"What about you??"
"Just wandering here and there"
She said , shaking her head.
"Finding courage"
She unbalanced herself and slammed into me, her pupils dilated due alcohol.I steadied her.
"Courage?? For what"
I cannot help but ask.This confident and courageous girl was finding courage.Unbelievable.
"To open my room after all these years.Those memories whom o have buried deep into some corner of my heart.That pain"
she muttered slowly but i don't think she meant me to hear that.I was taken aback.A sudden weight on my shoulders bought me back to reality, her head was resting on my shoulder, her eyes closed and her breath steady.She slept on me.Wow , Again first girl to sleep on me.Am i that boring ???.But then again she was tipsy.I slightly tapped her to wake her up and made her sit in my car so as to drop her home.
The car ride was quiet , kriya was half slept.We reached her home, she got off the car and without saying anything started walking at her home.Her steps shaking and her body swaying.I got off the car too and caught her.
"Will you come with me??"
She asked not looking at me.
"Off course"
We went inside her house towards one of the locked rooms.There were two rooms always locked in her house.I have asked swayam many times before, but he never answered about them.She tried unlocking them but failed due to her poor hand coordination.I took the key from her and opened the room.Room was painted with the shades of blue, from baby blue to dark blue almost black.Numerous pictures hung on walls.All of them were of her parents and friends.A huge portrait of the whole group was hung, it had Swayam, sharon, vicky, juno , her and two other boys whom i failed to recognize.Those two boys were in almost every picture.I looked at kriya to see her sleeping peacefully on her bed, so i removed her shoes and wrapped a blanket around her and went away from there.
A thousand more questions attacking my mind.More unsolved mysteries.
