CHAPTER-10
Vishnu reached office and went straight to his cabin lost in his thoughts.
He didn't even reply to the good morning greetings of his employees.
They found it strange that Vishnu ignored their greetings.
Vishnu was always a man of morals. He never differentiated between rich and poor, employee and employer.
He treated everyone in his office equally. He talked to everyone nicely.
So the employees weren't expecting this kind of behaviour from him.
But then they ignored it thinking that may be he was in a hurry today.
Manik was working on his laptop in his cabin when he got a call from Vishnu to come and meet him in his cabin.
Manik stopped all the work and went to Vishnu's cabin.
He didn't find Vishnu in his chair. He looked around and found Vishnu standing near the glass window staring outside.
Manik took permission and got in.
Vishnu came and sat on a couch and asked Manik to sit .
Manik sat down and asked- Sir , is everything OK. You look worried.
Vishnu - Manik Beta I wanted to thank you again for saving my Nandu.
Manik- It's OK sir you don't need to thank me .
Vishnu- No No. U have done me a huge favour. I can never repay you.
But I would like to invite you for dinner tonight. It's just a token of thanks from Nandu and my side.
Manik- Sir it's not necessary .
Vishnu- No Manik please I insist.
Manik- OK sir as you wish.
Vishnu- OK then see you at 9 PM.
Manik said OK and went back to his cabin to carry-on his work.
Vishnu smiled and even he went back to his work.
In Murthy Mansion-
Nandini was watching a movie after having lunch when Vishnu called her and asked how is she feeling now.
Nandini said that she is feeling much better.
Vishnu informed her that he has invited Manik for dinner and asked her to arrange everything till 9 PM.
Nandini said OK and went to the kitchen to tell them about the things to be prepared for dinner.
They said OK and started the prepations.
Nandini went to her room and studied for sometime .
It was evening and Vishnu returned from office.
He went to his room and freshened up. Then he went to Nandu's room and saw her engrossed in her books.
He went to her and said- Nandu Bas bhi kar Beta . Kitna padegi aur.
You should enjoy your life along with your studies. Look at Navya she manages both the things so perfectly.
And you
You never socialize nor go to parties with friends.
Nandini-
Dadu I don't like all these parties and all. I like my own company other than Navya's and yours.
Dadu- Pata nahi mere jaane ke baad kya hoga tera.
Nandini- Dadu please aisa mat boliye . Mai hamesha aapke sath rahungi aur ap kahi nahi jarahe ho. You know I hate all these talks.
Dadu- Par beta aaj nahi to kal tujhe shaadi karke apne sasural to Jana hi hai. Tu hamesha to mere sath nai reh Sakti.
Nandini- Agar aisa hai to mujhe shaadi hi nahi karni.
Aur agar kisiki mujhse shaadi karni hai to usey yahi hamare ghar me rehna hoga. Mai kahin nahi jaungi apko chodke.
Saying this she hugged Vishnu.
Dadu- Pagal ladki...
He tapped her head lightly and she giggled.
Dadu- Acha chal ready hoja Manik aata hi hoga ek ghante me dinner pe.
Nandini- OK . Dadu can I please call Navya too for dinner. Plzzz...
Dadu- Of course Beta. Ye bhi koi puchne ki baat hai. Call her.
Nandini- Thank you Dadu. Thank u thank u so much . You are the best. I love you.
Dadu- Love you too Beta.
Nandini picked up her phone and dialled Navya's number.
Vishnu smiled seeing Nandini so happy.
He went down to see the arrangements.
