CHAPTER-9
Swara quickly went and cooked some food of Manik's choice as she loved to cook for him. They didn't have any formalities between them and Swara used to cook for Manik whenever she visited their house or Manik went to Nisha's house.
Manik was the ideal son in law for Swara.
Swara felt her daughter to be very lucky because she got a husband like Manik.
But Nisha never understood this. She always used to care for herself.
Nisha wanted to be a model before marriage but her mother got her married to Manik.
It was an arranged marriage.
Nyonika had seen Nisha in a wedding and liked her in first sight.
She felt Nisha to be a perfect match for Manik.
Nyonika showed Nisha's picture to Manik and asked his opinion about her for marriage.
Manik didn't want to get married at this point of his career . He refused to get married but had to eventually give in to his mother's wish as Nyonika had emotionally blackmailed him.
After marriage they didn't share a husband-wife relation.
Neither of them wanted to get married. But because of the pressure from their parents they agreed.
After marriage Nisha got an offer for modelling and she didn't want to miss this golden opportunity.
She knew that Manik won't allow her to get into this field . Eve Nyonika and Swara didn't like the modelling profession.
Without informing any of them she signed the contract.
Everything was going according to her plan but one day Manik saw the contract papers of the modelling assignment.
He confronted Nisha about it.
Nisha didn't have any answer.
Manik asked her to end the contract immediately but she said that modelling was her passion.
She had got the opportunity after a lot of harwork and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Manik said that Nyonika won't approve of this.
Nisha pleaded to Manik not to tell this to Nyonika and Swara.
She would herself inform them when the time is right.
Manik didn't want to create a scene in front of his mother so he kept quiet .
Coming back to the story,
Manik ate the breakfast made by Swara and left for his office.
Little did he know what was in store for him today .
Meanwhile , at Nandini's home-
Nandini got up and freshened up.
She was still scared of yesterday's incident.
After having shower she went to her walk-in wardrobe and selected a simple dress to wear.
She came down and saw something which she didn't expect even in her weirdest dreams.
At first she got surprised and then started laughing .
She couldn't control her laughter seeing his grandfather in such a funny state.
Vishnu smiled seeing his Nandu laughing heartily after a long time.
Nandini went to Vishnu who was in the kitchen and asked-
Dadu yeh sab kya hai.
Aap kitchen me wo bhi aise.
Vishnu forehead was covered with flour and all his clothes were covered with spices.
The kitchen was a complete mess.
The servants stood helpless outside the kitchen as they had strict orders from Vishnu not to step inside the kitchen.
Vishnu wanted to prepare breakfast for Nandini all by himself.
But he failed miserably. So Nandini and Vishnu together prepared breakfast by following the instructions of their cook.
(Nandini didn't know how to cook as Vishnu had never allowed her to enter the kitchen.)
After lot of efforts they finally succeeded in preparing a proper breakfast.
Both of them sighed together and left the kitchen to freshen up before having breakfast.
Vishnu heaved a sigh of relief seeing Nandini back to normal after yesterday's incident.
He thought to thank Manik again as because of him Nandini was safe and back home. Otherwise if something would have happened to her ,he would have died.
After having breakfast, Vishnu left for office while Nandini stayed home on Vishnu's insistence.
