After my little encounter with Manik and his friends, I made my way towards the garden.

The garden always helps me to refresh myself and my thoughts.

What I do with Manik is the right or not?

My morals never allow me to hurt someone intentionally or unintentionally.

And here after a week I go out of my league and hurt someone.

Aiyappa ! I am so sorry .Ill never repeat this mistake again. I promise.

After I made a small talk with my Aiyappa and ask for forgiveness, I go to my room and take a good night sleep after all it was such an exhausting day.

I woke up in the morning with the huge smile on my face.

Ok .So that maybe a tiny winy lie. I actually woke up with snoring and slapping my hand off alarm clock like all teenagers do. But we all can pretend that I woke up grinning like all girls in the movie do.

I get ready as quickly as I can; putting my hair in fishtail braid (I want to try something new) and sliding a pair of skinny jeans with white lace top covering all look with a brown jacket.

I am not a one to make effort in getting ready but today I guess I am just feeling it.

I take my bag and phone and made my way outside the room.

After the boring first lecture of communication skills in which Miss. Natasha don't stop blabbering about the presentation, how to make one , how to present one. ahh.

Thank god we got saved by a bell or I must become deaf.

After other boring lecture, I made my way to the lab of Chemistry.

Yup the same lab in which I got Manik as a partner.

I take a seat at my assigned bench, which is in last. Miss Pooja actually has the nerve to assign us a seat after she assigned us a lab partner. There is this chart on notice board that actually tells us our place in lab.,

Yup I am feeling like I am still in Kindergarten.

After some time student start filling in the class and then enter Manik laughing on some jokes with his friends.

I made a face at him as I turned my attention towards Board.

When Miss Pooja enters in the lab, everyone settle on his or her assigned seat.

Manik also take a seat beside me.

"So Class I hope you enjoy fresher party very much. Right." She asked all of us smiling slightly.

"Yup Miss P we totally enjoy it." Manik answer mam query than his gaze turned towards me and then he smirk "Right Nandani.".

"Ya Right. I was totally enjoying it before some jerk showed up. "I replied him with fury.

Go in hell with Sorry I am never going to apologize to him. He deserves it.

We both are glaring at each other when Mam voice brings us back to present.

"Ok class enough of Party let start studying." She told loudly as she start scribing on Board god knows what.

It was my free lecture so here I am sitting in garden going through notes.

I was busy in understanding that stupid math's equation when a ball hit me on my backside.

I pickup the ball as I look around for its owner.

"Hey Nandani! That's my ball., Sorry it hit you by mistake. "I heard someone say to me.

I turn around to find that Dhruv is standing in front of me.

"Oh No need to be sorry and I am sure that hit me intentionally as you're Manik friend. "I told him while returning his ball back to him.

When did these people leave me alone?

"Hey wait. I accept that I hit you intentionally because I want to talk to you and I just can't come out of nowhere to talk to you without any reason so I hit you but I swear I just want to talk to you. I promise. "He stat saying all that in one breathes while trying to justify himself and I cannot help in holding my chuckle.

"So what you want to talk for which you take such trouble of hitting me." I asked him while sitting in garden.

"I am sorry for what happen with you in Fresher Party. "He told me and I look up to see that he is feeling genuinely sorry.

"It's Ok. It's not like that was your fault and what happen is in past we can't change it." I told him while remembering fresher party.

"How would you do it? "He asked me with confused expression.

"What? "I asked him.

"This. You told me that it is in past and you're talking nicely to me."He asked me with puzzle expression trying to understand it.

"Life is too small to mourn on past and whatever happens in past must have some reason. "I told him while shrugging my shoulder.

"You and your words. They are out of my mind. "He told me while sighing as he starts picking up the dry leaves from ground.

"So Friends. "He told me while forwarding his hand.

"You're not playing with me right know? "I asked him with raised eyebrows.

"No. I really want to be your friend. No prank. "He told me genuinely as he smiled at me.

I smiled at him as I forward my hand and shake it with him, "Friends."

I am currently in my room going through the chemistry notes.

Yup you hear me right .actually tomorrow Miss Pooja decided that it would be a wonderful Idea to hold a pop quiz.

I am telling you that a woman is delusional.

Tap Tap I heard that someone tap on the door.

Must be Mukti. Forget to take her card.

I sigh to myself as I untangle myself from the blankets and getup from the bed.

I unlatched the door and get surprised to see Manik on the door.

"What are you doing here? "I asked/yell at him

"Cool down Baby girl! I just come here to meet Mukti." He told me smoothly as he push past me.

I again take my seat on bed as I start going through my notes.

"What you take half hour to come here. What am I supposed to do till then? "I heard Manik yelled on phone.

After minute of silence Manik spoke again

"You better be here in half hour. I need my things Mukti." he hang-up.

I roll my eyes as I start flipping through pages.

There is silence in room. Manik is going through his phone sitting on Mukti bed and well I am trying to study for test.

I find shadow on my book I look up to see that Manik is looking down at me.

"What? "I ask him irritated.

"Sweet. "He told me while eyeing me intensely.

Suddenly anger bubble up inside me. How dare he again start his flirting with me?

I push him with all my force as he stumble back and get save from falling because of wall as I get up.

"What do you think of yourself ha.Always trying to irritate me, insulting me? I am telling you last time stay away from me. I am just tolerating your presence right know because you're my roommate brother. "I told him angrily as I turn around when I felt that Manik tugged my hand.

I turn back to give him a piece of mind again but get shocked to see that his eyes are drowsy and he is standing with the help of wall.

"Sweet. "He whispers again while losing my hand.

I got panic as I look at him, "What sweet?"

"I want some sweet. "He whispers slowly.

I hurriedly pick up the Cupcake from packet that I hide under my drawer and run to his side.

I make him eat the Cupcake as fast as possible.

Just before he is going to fall I place both my hand around his face to the wall to prevent him from falling as I look at him with concern.

Aiyappa ! I was just kidding when I told you to make him suffer. You know Na I never wish ill for someone and I don't know why but I just can't see him suffer.

A tear rolled down my eyes by seeing him in that condition.

"Manik "I called his name softly. Please Aiyappa makes him alright.

He slowly opens his eyes as he looks at me and wipes my tear while whispering "Baby Girl! Don't cry."
