Disclaimer: Not proof checked. If there are any mistakes(sure there will be some), please pardon me for the same as I am extremely busy to even write. Hope this meets the requirement of the word given.

Floral colors
The food doesn't taste, don't feel like dressing, I can't even concentrate on performing Pooja to my beloved God Shiva as I miss you while doing the Aarti (rather shive is with him), I don't feel like going near the Tulsi pot as I will see you everywhere playing pranks with Bharath Bhaiya & Shathrughan or pleading mata kaikeyi for her luddu or Mata Kausalya for her Kheer or relaxing by placing your head in mata Sumithra's lap . I can' t even go to the palace garden as I miss our moments in Yagnyavalk's ashram where we have spent time just talking without realizing what we talked or what was the time in the pretext of teasing each other. I don't feel like going out of my room as each corner of the Mahal reminds me of you in one or the other way. Where should I go which doesn't remind me of you? The ever loving Tulsi pot also mocks my loneliness by flaunting both Krishna Tulsi & Sri Tulsi together claiming, see they are together. I always use to love to watch the smiling moon in the clear sky and now Moon teases me telling see my Rohini / Tara is twinkling next to me and what are you doing here on the open terrace all alone? The sunflower also berates me by telling we are posing for our SUN and whom do you blossom? Even the pigeons and parrots are mocking my loneliness. I can't take it anymore. It is not long before I envy my sisters, for they are staying together harmoniously and I want my husband to save me from that sin before I land into it

Sowmithri, at last we are nearing the end of separation and you with Ram Bhaiya have won the battle with Ravan and his kins. All along these 14 years, somehow I was able to hold on to my duty by taking care of the mothers and helping brother Bharath in state affairs and Shathrughan in trades. I kept myself busy by lending hands to Mandavi & Shruthkirti in palace welfare and pooja and penance. All through these 14 years, no one in Ayodhya had painted their house with neither new colors nor played Holi for a simple reason the colors of Ayodhya stays in their 4 princes and out of them 2 are away in forest while other 2 are missing them. For us sisters, we have never played holi without our sister and hence Ayodhya lost its 14 years without colours. But please don't worry, we have kept the whole lot aside and I have assured our subjects that we (the Kosala) will play holi on the day our beloved Ram bhaiya returns to our palace.

Neither Bharath bhaiya nor mandavi have touched their color and brush as they end up painting the Ayodhya in melancholy saffron than the chirping pink and purple. Even I could not muster the courage to touch paint after I ended up painting you in blazing pink face with red eyes and flaring nostrils and Ram bhaiya with bluish face with watery eyes. Later I came to know that was the actual picture when Bharath Bhaiya came to convince Ram bhaiya to return. In your haste you had mistook him yet again and were ready to kill him while Bhaiya felt sad (face turned bluish due to sorrow) because he was the cause for the conflict between his 2 brothers. That's when Shruthkirti asked me not to paint as it might be the unseen forecast of our future.

Sumithranandan, ever since then, I had seen the colors only in the nature. The Red (rose) always made me think of our fights. The Pink (rose) make me ponder over the moments when pitaji proposed my name for you. The yellow (marigolds) make me remember our encounter at Gauri maa temple as you were gazing at me in yellow. Violet (orchids) make me remember our encounter at the river banks where you toppled the water over me and blurted out that you were carrying water for the horse. The blue (lotus) is one which makes me shiver of my near death experience with that snake and immediately also makes me smile (violently shriek) as that is the day you saved your Urmila and embraced me with love and affection. That is when I saw your unguarded feelings for me and that is when you gave me your heart in that blue lotus. Lakshman, don't call me nirlajj if I confess that I didn't gave that flower to Sita didi for her pooja as I felt that was given to me exclusively and I could not share it with anyone else.

Sumithranandan please don't call me selfish for not sharing those colorful glass bangles with Mandavi & Shruthkirti as I felt those Red & Green bangles are your token of love and care for me. White Jasmine always makes me remember your innocent request to let you serve your brother and at that moment I realized the fragrance of jasmine is the one which made me fall again for you and this time irrevocably. Your trust in me is so pure as white and so fragrant as Jasmine and with that trust, I have lived my colorless life as colorful as it was possible.

Today I have ensured the whole state is painted with vibrant colours at the expense of state. I have ensured all the streets are decorated with Green mangoleaves and yellow flowers. Yes dear we are Greedy to meet our beloved King & queen and also the brave Prince. I have ordered all the households to decorate their Angan with colorful rangolis and to lit diyas. Gone are the days of dark clouds. I have ordered the florists to cover the streets with red rose petals and sprinkle rose water on them, so as to ensure the freshness of the flowers which tough the feet of Sriram who will step into this land after 14 long years. And I have decorated the whole palace with white jasmine which will receive its colors from the HOLI colors soon after Dasharathi's entry. Yes my dear husband, I have arranged for HOLI with floral colors as this is the time for celebration. With this I want you to fill my life with colors and together we shall paint the whole palace with your victory over the demons. You can keep narrating the situation and I will capture that with my paint & brush.

~Rang Jo Laagyo~

A/N:Hii everyone! You know how dead I am from the past few days, well not only on the forum. So,I was so bored with exile and tears and pain that I decided to concentrate more on the happy moments. This is my 'Rang' one.Its no different, almost similar to most of them here, except the fact that it does not even mention of exile even once.

"What is your favourite colour?"Mila asked walking alongside Lakshman. It were only 2 days left to their marriage.
"Why are you asking this,so suddenly?"Laksh questioned,
Mila gave it a thought and answered,
"Hmm,I must have guessed it before,it surely must be Red!"She smiled.
"And why's that ?"a confused Laksh eyed her,
"You want to know?"she moved a little away.He blushed and nodded. She continued,
"Its because your face goes all red in anger, and I know how much you love to be angry!"Urmila giggled.
"What?"Lakshman gasped,
"You see,"She kept her finger on his nose,"See, its here, it is seated!"
She bit her tongue and ran away,
"You are far more mischiveous than what I had thought.Well, you know me,but you dont really know
me"He ran behind her,
"Catch me if you can!!I am a girl of these hills"She took long steps and easily climbed up the hilly
grounds of Mithila.
"And I am a warrior, dont forget that, girl!"He ran towards her.
The whole atmosphere were filled with their happy laughter.
He caught her,she tightly closed her eyes,
"No!!Even Pitaji's never able to catch me up here"
She pouted, and he pulled her cheek lightly.
"Sumitranandan,I am not some five year old girl!"
"See yourself, you are not even a grown up woman."He spoke.
"You dont know me!!"She shouted
"Ah!so I was saying you dont really know me.I like colour red but for one another reason,do you want to know?"He raised his eyebrows, she nodded. He pointed her to look up to the sky in the other direction. As soon as she turned her face,he planted a small kiss on her cheek.

She blushed profusely,he explained...,
"See,its because when you blush like this, your cheeks go all red,and I know you love me to make you blush.Isn't it?"
She hit him on his chest,
"Sumitranandan!!"
-----
"Sumitranandan!!"Mila sort of confronted Laksh.
"Hey,Did you forget me?"he complained smiling.
"What have you done?"She asked angrily.
"Well,my tigress,I didnt do anything wrong. You are my wife and I just grabbed you from the corridor to bring you to our room."He said playfully.
"Anhh!Swami, its Holi!Everyone must be looking for us,and for your kind information I am very busy. Now let me go!"She handled the plate of laddoos in her hand carefully.
"I was just saving you Mirchi"He hit her head lightly.
"Mirchii!!?Again!!"She frowned,"And why are you saving me and from what...?"
He pointed,
"From Shatrughan of course,You are taking this full plate of laddoos to the kitchen, and I know my twin will do anything for them."
"There's no need!"She smiled.
"Why?"
"Because Kriti has already taken a bunch of them for him."She said making both of them laugh.
"Oh!You see,my little Kriti is so intelligent.Infact all of Mithila princesses, except you!You dont do anything for your husband"He frowned.
She sighed,"Hmm!So Aarya,Please watch yourself when we play colours!"Mila told confidently.
Laksh blushed"But before that,my lady,close your eyes,there's a reason why I called you here"
"Okay, but please make haste!"She closed her eyes and he put a handful of red colour on her cheeks and a little of it in her maang.
"Its because darling,I should colour you before everyone else does."
She opened her eyes and touched her cheeks, smiling all this while.
"Red?"she raised her eyebrow.
"Ofcourse!My favourite one"he cheered
"So why are you colouring me red?To make me blush,as you say"She asked mischievously.
"Yes!And its also because I always want you alwaysblushing whenever we are together."he replied.

Hey guys Its me SenRazia, aka Anu, and this is mine on 'Rang' or colour featuring LakshMila! Apologies for the mistakes.

THE FORGOTTEN COLOUR

As Lakshman sat outside the small cottage in the forest, the burning heat and gruelling sunlight made him wipe his face every now and then. Ram and Sita sat inside, preparing the lunch. Maybe they had forgotten what day it was then, or maybe they were just avoiding the thought. Lakshman had marked this day in his calendar, but now there was no purpose for it. Maa Kaikeyi had ordered them to live as Sanyasis, and for Sanyasis, there is no such festival as HOLI. The preachers of peace are not allowed to indulge in any activity of self - pleasure, be it with the family or personally. And so they had to follow the rules. Lakshman looked into the deep forest, remembering the same day, five years ago...

"Bhaiyya, I have come. You can't hide from me now," said a bright faced Lakshman in his royal silver attire. It was holi, and he stood with the colourful plate of gulal in his hand. Every year this day, he woke up, bathed, and changing into his silver attire sped off to his brother Ram's room, for he was the first person who had the right to put colour on Ram. Not even his parents, not even the other brothers. And if someone did, he would be fumed up for the rest of the day. Even though Ram didnt like colours so much, he obliged to his brothers wishes. Lakshman knocked on the royal door of his brothers room again. This time, Ram opened the door, smiling brightly. Lakshman's face brightened up. He touched his brothers feet and placed some colour there. He looked at Ram and said,"Bhaiyya, I hope no one has put colour on you?" Ram simply smiled. He took the green colour from his plate and put it on his face, wishing him a happy holi. Ram took the red colour from Lakshmans plate and coloured the latters cheek with it. Lakshman walked away to find the others. Ram closed the door behind him and looked at Siya and said,"See Siya, this is why I wasn't letting you put colour on me. My dearest brother turns very angry if anyone does so before him." Siya moved towards him and rubbing his cheek with the pink gulal in her hand said,"I understand. " At that moment, a servant walked in, calling for Ram. Ram told him to go, and as Ram left, he playfully threw some colour from Siyas plate on her. She smiled, and thought to herself,"Swami is so lucky to have a brother like Lakshman, who begins his day with his sight. But I do feel bad for Urmila. Where is she?" Thinking so, Siya checked herself once in the mirror and went towards Urmilas room.
On reaching there, she saw her sisters already standing there, outside Urmilas room. Mandvi knocked again and again, but no response. She asked Mandvi,"Why is she not opening the door?" Mandvi knocked at the door once again and replied,"I dont know Didi. Maybe she is getting ready still." They waited, and till then coloured each other. After some time, Lakshman came there with Bharat, Ram and Shatrughan and looked at the closed door. He asked Siya,"Bhaabi, why is she not opening the door?" Siya answered she didnt know. Lakshman ordered one of the guards to get a key for their room, and once that key was brought, he entered. The others waited outside, so as to not disturb the privacy of the couple.
Lakshman walked in. Candles had been light, even in daylight, and yet he didnt see her. Suddenly, he heard the swift sound of a woman's Payals moving towards the balcony of their room. He knew the sound very well, it was Urmila's. He himself had gifted them to her. He smiled at rushed towards the balcony. As he shaded his eyes from the bright light, he turned and someone threw an entire plateful of colours on him. He shrieked and as he opened his eyes, his anger subsided. He looked at the love of his life, Urmila now. She looked straight at him with her playful eyes, with the tray in her hand and laughed. "See, I tricked you!!!" , she said as she covered her mouth and laughed harder. Lakshman caught hold of her hand and pulled her closer to him. She stopped laughing, and looked at his face. He whispered in her ear,"You haven't tricked me, I have tricked you. See, thats why no one has put colour on you till now." She moved his hand from her arm and as she placed the tray on a bench near by, she said,"Thats because I didnt let anyone put colour on me." Lakshman looked at her with a confused expression and asked,"But why?" "Because I wanted you to be the first one to do so," she replied in a calm voice and extended her fist full of colours towards him, indicating him to put it on her. Lakshman's eyes filled with tears as he took the colour from her hand and rubbed it on her cheek. She blushed, and he pulled her into his arms and said,"Urmila, I dont know if you are angry on me or not that I put colours on everyone else and then on you, but I promise, from next time, after meeting Ram Bhaiyya, I will colour you in my love on Holi." She looked up at him and said,"You better do so."

"Lakshman! Lakshman!" He was brought back to the present. Ram was calling him inside. Lunch was ready. Lakshman wiped the tears which had fallen from his eyes and went to wash his hand in the small pond nearby. As he looked into the water, he saw her face. Her bright face. He touched it, and the reflection wiped away. He washed himself and as he left, thought to himself,'I wonder what must be happening In Ayodhya now."
Ayodhya was silent. After the going of Ram, they had stopped celebrating all festivals. Urmila, as she slept eternally, dreamt about the holi, 11 years from then, when Lakshman would first come and colour her, with the forgotten colour...

THANKS!! IF IT WAS GOOD HIT THE LIKE!!
P.S. I LOVED ALL THE OTHER STORIES !!!!
