Yes to be very honest I actually thought he is going to steal again to meet his deadline as he was not getting ideas to complete it.

I loved that One Tear drop that rolled down when Rahul confesses to him ...
and yes that Akhir baar likh raha hoon was LOVE...showed how much Depth Arjun had .
They should have explored him more...

Exactly..And i was curious to see how that revelation changes the dynamics between Arjun and Rahul..That is one thing i wish they dwelt on πŸ˜† And yeah, that was such a kickass lineπŸ˜† Has so much meaning to it and it added a new dimension to Arjun..

Arjun gave the final draft of his first to be published novel to his mother with a note. So that was his forgiveness for his mother I suppose. And that bit where he says thak gaya hun aapni family se bhagte bhagte and Tia says toh wapas chale jao. It was beautiful scene.

and what was that one drop of tear he shedded for? For knowing that the winner is not the perfect bacha ? or he was fighting those demons without knowing the conflict and bagge his brother was carrying all those years anD Arjun was one of them bruising him with loads o accusations? That scene is one poignant one but yet I thought it needed an extended convo.

Yes!! I absolutely loved his charecter. I could really connect to it. I mean the baggage we carry might be in a different form but the struggle to cope up with it and go on, keep trying, something about that role is not in your face but you can genuinely feel it. Given his char traits, he would have wanted to confront his brother then and there but he held it. He kept it to himself all these years for his mom's sake. He was bitter but was ready to mend things, wasn't stuck at one point, though it kept bothering him. There was a certain restlessness to his charecter, which I felt was well portrayed.

Yes! That scene could have been better, it was very crucial but the impact wasn't quite up to the mark. Also the fact that his confrotnation with his mom came after Fawad-Ratna P scene makes you feel the difference in intensity.

But like I said, I could just let it go coz I loved his char overall. πŸ˜†

@MEB : There are a lot more things in the movie which I loved but didnt mention in the review. This movie deserves so much love and appreciation. Hope you get to watch it soon. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. πŸ˜ƒ

@bold : Bingo about the Restlessness . You could feel it in his Interactions .
When Tia asks him why din't you confronted your Bro , He says that ppl would have started saying that Chota bhai Bade Bhai se Jealous hain and all . I can so connect with this Taunt πŸ˜†.
He all these years dint opened up abt this with his Bro or Family . makes one feel for him .

Fawad-Ratna confrontation was SO GOOD DUDE...esp his Vulnerability when he says "I can change my habits , I can polish myself but How can I change the person I am " and then that Aapko meri Asliyat se Problem hain ...FAWAD WAS BRILLIANT THERE...

LOL...I dont think Fawad-Ratna confrontation ...had any effect on Sid-Ratna ..
Sid needed to show some layers and Big time needed voice modulation , His tone came arnd screechy for me...

Ohh wanted to ask you . Please clear my doubt .
Was it Arjun who changes his Book's end or was it Rahul who writes it ???πŸ˜†

And there's a little pause after he says that. It just enhances the beauty of that bit. I agree, his character sort of got a raw deal, despite having so much potential.

Hey but one day, when Sid actually becomes an amazing actor, we can have a spin off of sorts with a movie made on Arjun's character. 🀣

Sorry, if the joke wasn't really good..That's Tia's impact. πŸ˜†

See am not as shallow as you think πŸ˜›πŸ˜† I liked everyone in the film man..Every character..That happens very rarely..A film on Arjun will be awesome..I have a thing for those kinda characters πŸ˜†

That Tear drop can come up with so many meanings...
I interpreted as his Guilt for accusing Rahul for kissing his GF ...
Bt It can also be taken as he felt for his Bro , being away to hide the Truth from Family ...

Yeah i have that doubt too..What was the point of showing Rahul reading the first draft of the novel? Was it just to create that conflict or there was more to that scene? I actually thought he'l send it to be publisher to get it published and Arjun will later regret misunderstanding him but nothing of that sort happened πŸ˜† And why did he change the ending? What was the point of that revelation? πŸ˜†

yes and also both were sailing on the same boat, both were imperfect in their own ways. More so when the mother disconnected herslf from ne son and the other son stopped communicating to her too.
