zindagi gulzar hai and malaal are really my favss... malaal is quite old butt its such abeautiful drama :)

humsafar diyar e dil are nice..
i am watching tum mere kya ho en gul e rana at the moment :)

I used to watch indian shows but nothing niceee on tv anymore...
paki dramas are good and shortt so thats great and they dont changee story etc based on trps :)

Watch Gul-e-Rana . Sajal looks and acts awesome . The story is the repeated one but the way of potraying is nice. Those who like Love-Hate stories do watch it. Diyar-e-dil is also nice. Indian shows also had some nice stuff but Naagin is haddd of pagalpana. lately hero to insan tha wo bhi ab shayad koi creature banne wala hai -_-

You are talking about post 2000 shows. But Indian TV shows have been around right from the 1980s. Indian films have been around for more than 100 years. Pre 2000 Indian TV shows were much better these K shows. Anyways even now majority of Pak shows center around multiple marriages, sisters fighting over one man which is pretty much like any Indian show post 2000. I think highest rated Pak show now is called Dusri Biwi...pretty self explanatory what its about.

The themes do repeat, especially polygamy being the most common. But then you have to sift through the receptive shit to find something that still offers something substantial.

Rang Laaga is also about a man who marries 4 times, but the treatment is something else all together. It makes a powerful statement at the end and has very strong female characters unlike a lot the usual ones. This one REALLY touched my heart. The reactions and characters were relatable, real, and the performances were BEYONG powerful!

Also, it has a really good balance of drama and comedy. I mean the characters are so well sketched!

Faisal Quiresh NAILS it as Ashiq Hussain. He's supposed to be repulsive but Faisal adds this charm and innocent to the man.

His favorite line to all his women is "Apne ashiq ko maaf nahi karogi?" in the most hilarious way possible. 😆
