As they walked back to the camp they saw Sikhandi and Dhrisht waiting for them. Krishna smiled at Sikhandi and said,' The day has arrived. Your purpose of life is awaiting you. Go ahead and strike Santanav without hesitation. Parth will be with you only .He will take care of you. You should just be there when the real fight happens between him and his Pitamah." Sikhandi frowned and said.' I am enough to strike him down. I don't need any one to shield me." Krishna retorted.' We need the shield. What better shield is there than the one who can make Gangaputr be submissive and unreacting." Arjun knitted his brows.' If Sikhandi can make the Great Warrior fall then I would prefer to relax and leave the task." Krishna pressed Arjun's shoulder and pacified him.' Calm down Parth. There is no use to withdraw from your duty.Sikhandi can not throw away Bheeshm, But his presence is essential I tell you again." Yudhishtir intervened and said in a decisive tone .' Today I would definitely like to see Arjun do that what is entrusted to him. Enough of submitting innocent soldiers before Grandfather who is burning them like fire burns heaps of cotton.I hope Arjun would realise the need of the hour and do accordingly." Arjun became quiet. Panchali knew now no need of any other provocation. His Eldest's word is the Veda for him. She saw Arjun silently going towards the chariot where his Madhav is already waiting for him with reigns in hand.She approached Sikhandi and said.' Do whatever Govind instructed you today.This is your day. May god bless you with success." As she was left alone after all of them went Panchali reminisced how close Arjun is to his grand father. It is his Grand father's presence that used to rejuvenate him when he comes back victorious after his victorious stints with Yavanas,Kamarupas, Yakshas and Vidyadharas.Panchali went back to the time they lived in Hastinapur before they were allotted Indraprasth before she was asked to spend one year with each brother. ...Hastinapur just gave a grand reception to the Third Pandav who conquered Sauveeras and Yavanas who are hostile towards Hastinapur.Panchali the new bride who missed her dearest Arjun got miffed at the way he did not even bother to visit her after he came back after a long spell. She again and again felt embarrassed at the way she fell into his arms due to Dussasan's mischief, A slight blush crept on her cheeks thinking of the incident. She felt heavenly to be that close to him. But did he feel the same? That is a puzzle for the Princess of Panchal who always is intrigued about her too inhibited Arjun . Priyamvada came and said.' Princess, A big feast is being planned in honour of your husband.Maharani Gandhari is waiting for you to give instructions. Your Mother in law also is there" Panchali got up and followed her to Gandhari's chamber. Kunti is talking something to Sahadev who acknowledged her presence with a smile. Gandhari sensed Draupadi's arrival and demanded Sahadev,' Where is Arjun? Don't he has the courtesy to meet his wife who waited for him all these days?" Sahadev patiently answered Ganthari ,' Jyesht Mata He is with Grand Father . They are busy discussing the fate of imprisoned kings and other matters." Kunti tried to explain.' Didi you know how close he is to his Pitamah.Also the matters must be of great importance. Anyway my other sons are attending on her and her needs.Isnt it Sahadev? Your Eldest regularly visits her before he leaves for court.Bheem is training her in kitchen maintainance etc, And Nakul...Ganthari cut her short and declared.' Kunti I am talking of Arjun not others. I know he treats both of us above every one but his grand father is special to him.Still he should realise he has his responsibilities towards his wife. Sahadev take Panchali to Your Pitamah Bheeshm's chamber.Bahu if he doesn't come you go and meet him. His Pitamah also will feel elated to see you there.Go now." Panchali's heart beat can be heard by her. She looked at Kunti who nodded in approval.

Amazing update...Now waiting 4 the fight between gangaputra bheesm and kuntiputra arjuna.

Panchali tried to protest.' I would have so much work for tonite' feast. Let me attend to that . You go with him and offer him Khichdi that he would like to have . Nowadays he is not eating full lunch.He suffers from indigestion, Draupadi could not have another way to avoid going there. She is miffed with Arjun for not visiting her atleast once after he is back from his conquest.There is no significance for Panchali in his life." She went to kitchen and made Kichdi as instructed by Ganthari and accompanied Sahadev. He observed her aloofness and said.' Don't misunderstand my brother Panchali. He dotes on Pitamah. We all are bonded with Pitamah but Bhrata Arjun is too close to him. Till we went to Gurukul he used to sleep in Pitamah's place only." Panchali retorted.' Ofcourse he is dutiful towards every one that I realised." Arjun is sitting close to him placing his hand on his lap. When Bheeshm saw Panchali he became alert.He sent the officers away despite Arjun's protest.He is apologetic.' Princess, I told Arjun to leave these matters and attend on you. But he didn't listen.You have to come all the way to meet him. I am sorry " Panchali did Pranam and replied.' I came here to offer this Kichdi to you on Ganthari mata's insistance but not to disturb your official work.Please forgive me if I disturbed you." Arjun understood her annoyance and smiled.He then blasted Sahadev.' Why did you allow grandfather to eat that what is prepared for every one? He should not eat spicy food.His health got disturbed . You should have told Krishnaa about his diet " Panchali got scared seeing his anger.Sahadev signalled her not to worry and asked her to serve Pitamah,Kichdi.Bheeshm ate it and relished it so much.He praised Panchali with superlatives.' For the first time I see taste in this. Bahu you made it too tasty.Now serve your husband also his desired food. He never bothers about what he eats.You should take care of him." Arjun said.' Pitamah you liked it? Then I will tell Krishnaa to prepare your food separately." So saying Arjun made him drink water and slowly helped him to lie down on his coach.Panchali observed her husband's care and concern for his grand father.Sahadev left on the pretext of offering medicines to his mother.As Draupadi walked out she heard Grandfather scolding Arjun and asking him to escort her.Arjun reached her with fast pace as she already started towards her mansion.He stopped her by taking her hand and said.' Thanks a lot Krishnaa Pitamah ate well.Do continue this everyday." Panchali nodded her head and walked fast indicating her anger. Arjun stopped her by pulling her close and smiled.' You look too beautiful when you are angry.Awesome Krishnas.Panchali closed her eyes feeling his love and enjoyed the moment. ...Malini called out in a louder voice.' Princess. War started fiercely. Rajkumar Arjun is forcing his way to Pitamah with Sikhandi who is in his chariot before theirs. " Panchali came back to present and wondered.' The dearest grandson is atlast venturing the final fight. Govind guide him further." She prayed.

The Tenth day war started with Sikhandi moving forward and attacking Bheeshma with great determination.He shot a number of arrows on Pitamah who laughed and said.' I know you are a woman previously and man later. I also know the significance of your birth. But I will never fight with you as per my principle." Sikhandi got angry and ridiculed Bheeshma.' You are the desciple of Parasurama. It doesn't look proper if you don't meet my challenge.No need to bother about my previous birth.You are the sole reason for my existence on this earth.Now face my wrath." So saying Sikhandi shot more arrows on the old warrior. Arjun observed Sikhandi's attitude and understood that finally his Grand Father's final day of battle had arrived. He closed his eyes and prayed.' God Forgive my treacherous crime. But I am destined to do that today.Pitamah Forgive me." As he opened his eyes he saw Bheeshma smiling assuringly.Arjun asked Sikhandi to concentrate only on Bheeshm.Dhrisht called up his army and shouted. All of you be fearless. We should strike Bheeshma today.When Arjun leads us towards that no need to be afraid of. Proceed." The Pandava Army revived their spirits and moved forward. Duryodhan observed Arjun who is clearing way for Sikhandi to reach Bheeshma methodically. Whoever is coming in his way they are being punished by severe shafts from Gandiv.There is a clear firmness in the face of Krishna who is driving Arjun's chariot towards Bheeshma with great force and power.Duryothan called Dussasan and ordered him to stop Arjun from reaching Grand Father.Dussasan obstructed Arjun and shot five arrows on his forehead.Arjun frowned and broke his bow. He then shot a powerful shaft on Dussasan who swooned in his chariot due to it.But Dussasan got back his consciousness and again came in Arjun's way.Arjun's face displayed his anger and he instantly broke his bow,and pierced all his limbs with his surefire arrows. Dussasan could not bear the pain and ran away.Drona who is fighting at a distance observed Arjun's way of fighting that day and called his son Aswathama.' Son it looks like Arjun will definitely throw down Bheeshm today. I am not feeling well. I forget all the mantras of Astras.See the way Arjun is racing forward towards Bheeshma.He is clearing the way by destroying Kaurava Forces who are before our chief commander.I will stop Panchalas from assisting Arjun. You go and be with Bheeshma. Save him from Arjun today." Aswathama went to assist Bheeshma Bheema jumped into Kuru army and started destroying them to help Arjun reach Bheeshma but Bhagadutta,Jayadhradha and many others bounced on him. Arjun swiftly reached there and assisted Bheem in tackling them. He made Sikhandi be with him only and lead him towards Bheeshma.Again Dussasan came in the way of Arjun and fought fiercely.The way Dussasan fought that day to stop Arjun is praiseworthy as no other Pandava warrior except Arjun could stop him. Arjun wounded him severely and Dussasan went behind the chariot of his grand father.He pierced Bhagadutta's Elephant and removed them from his way.The celestials gathered in the sky to watch that crucial battle with Arjun targeting his Pitamah and the whole Kaurava army trying to shield Bheeshma from him.The Kaurava Army with their stalwarts together attacked Arjun at once. Arjun scattered them like whirlwind scatters clouds with his Astras.Sikhandi was shown the way nearer to Bheeshma and under Arjun's protection he shot many arrows on Bheeshma.But Bheeshma was not effected by those arrows and started laughing at him.He avoided Sikhandi and shot Arjun with sharp arrows.Dussasan again came and ran away unable to bear Arjun's wrath.Dussasan brought Kripa Salya and Vikarna with him but Arjun destroyed their chariots and made them weapon less.Bheeshma got angry and destroyed Panchal army and killed Virata's brother Satanika.Pandava army felt depressed on seeing that. Krishna advised Arjun.' Parth Again your grandfather is on rampage. Now don't spare him for more. He will demoralise our army. Exhibit your prowess.Dont feel for him. He wants liberation from your hands. Do him that favour. Indra's son had moisture in his eyes but nodded his head and bounced upon Santanav with full energy. The twang of Gandiv resounded in the battlefield.The chariot ,the charioteer of Bheeshma was covered with Arjun's arrows and Bheeshma's bow was broken much to the disappointment of Kauravas. Gandiv thrummed with menace.
