I do think both Adeel and Rana are stubborn like I mentioned in another posts here. Both are competing with eachother, Rana does something WRONG like taking sleeping pill for example and Adeel follows her and do something even worst.

But I do LOVE Rana attitude of giving it back to Adeel.

About not telling her Mom about the issue I can understand why she didn't. Her mother isn't very understanding of her or care to lesson to her problems. The people who she tries to vent out her frustrating to... Adeel ends up stopping her from talking to them. Like Gulab Khan & Ashar.

Adeel in the novel was much worst and harsher to Rana while Adeel in the show isn't shown that bad.

Yes, I can see he's just trying to compete with her. It will tone down only when one of them ends it. I will like to see Adeel taking care of her while she's ill, want to see a soft, tender side of him.
