Are the bonds of love stronger than bonds of blood?
Who is Bharat's real mother? Kekeyi, the pressure of whose expectations is clouding her love for Bharat, or Kaushalya who still rejoices in pampering Bharat - for her whether he is the brave warrior of today, or the artist of the yesterday, he is her son Bharat!

Does the fact that Sunayna did not carry Sita in her womb make her any less of Sita's mother? This is the question that starts tormenting Sita! Her heart wants to hold on to the unquestioning love of her parents, but her brain starts planting doubts...

The episode was also marked by how a thoughtless remark can cause grave damage to relationships - Bharats mother and Sita's sister, both being guilty of unknowingly touching a raw nerve!

But of course the highlight of the day for me was the brothers love in Ayodhya and sisters bonding in Mithila

When raja Dashratha says that ram will have 3 capable brothers by his side, Sita becomes shakti, with 8 hands when her sisters stand behind her, one with her!

The strength of unity was once again beautifully portrayed directly in Ayodhya and symbolically in Mithila !

The most touching scene was when Sita clings on to Sunayna - still not having come to terms with the huge revelation about her birth.

The conflict of head vs heart was very nicely depicted in Sita's duvidha.

The dialogue of the day was I think when Bharat tells Rama that there is no need for words when there is acceptance and understanding , his hurt look at kekeyi said much more tha the words.

@Arshics 4 brothers born for 3 mothers bonded beautifully. Yes they were step brothers but then the love shared between them was more than the real brothers.
4 sisters, one adopted and rest cousins they were united as if they are one. Do read my post that have detailed out this aspect https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/topic/4538696
So who defines the relation. A relation is always between 2 people. And it is a success when both sides understands each other. And yesterday we saw a Kausalya who understood Bharat, and Kaikeyi who expected Bharat to understand her.
We saw a Sita who understood Sunaina and a Chandrabagha who wanted Mandavi to understand it.
When we understand someone we give without expecting anything in return. When we want others to understand us, we expect something from others as our right.
The point I stress once again. Why we have to crib again and again about rights. Why cant we look inward and check have we done our duties correctly. Because if duties are done correctly, rights will follow.
By duty I don't mean doing things which I think is best for another, by duty I mean when we truly give the other person what they want.
Like yesterday Ram and Lakhan gave to Bharat, Kausalya gave to Bharat. Sita gave to Sunaina.

Though Kaikeyi yield to her insecurities induced by her domestic help and nurtured by her brother, try hard to separate her son Bharath from his brother's she will not be successful for a simple reason, this hatred or agitation in her towards Ram is recently induced while her love for Ram, Lakshman & Sharthrugan was from the day got into their respective mother's womb. During her entire pregnancy, she had not known this greed and she had never taught her son about distancing during his childhood when the it picks up the emotions, bond, hatred and love instantly which stays for life. So during all those days, Bharath has seen his mother (biological) showering love on his brothers and especially his elder brother Ram and that has marked its spot in his heart which can never be replaced and disturbed in an age when the child thinks whatever mother says or does is right. The love and comradeship has grown as a Banyan tree and now even the branches have gone into the earth and given roots. So even if kaikeyi tries hard to re-root the love and faith Bharath has for his brother, she can never succeed as this tree is no longer survives only with its original root but has already grew more roots and will be capable of living without its rotten root (kaikeyi's love and company). So here the tree is safe and sound.
But that is not the same case in Mithila as Sita came to know that she doesn't have a root and whichever roots she had been embraced so far as her roots were not at all her roots but a mercy of the donor. What if the real branches & flowers of the tree realizes her as a parasite and disown her? how can she live a life without the tree( her parents), the flowers (her sisters) and the branches (aunt & uncle) and the birds (subjects of Mithila of whom she thought were her people). Whatever her sister uttered was due to her anger towards her sister for giving her the pain to even imagine her sister as not her own. She was grieved to even think in those lines and that made her to speak bitter to make her sister stop her nonsense thought. Only if she had a slight inclination of why her sister asked that question, she would have been the first one to fight with her sister to even consider herself as step sister. but everything happens for a cause and let us see how the root makes its little plant understand that the plants roots are entangled in its roots and they have joined at the base, well within the mother earth and if the plant thinks that the roots are no longer her own and try to separate from the root, in that tussle, even the roots will get shattered and loosened and eventually die out of distress.
Lets wait and watch how King Janak bring his daughter back to his fold and embrace her.

Wow, that's an amazing perspective that you have taken - of a tree and its roots. i think Sita too will discover that the roots of her bonding with her family are also just as strong! Would love to see her conversation with Janak
