She came out of the washroom, drying her hair with towel. She was in a light blue saree and matching blouse. She went near the dressing table and sat there. She kept the towel aside and put on her Mangalsutra. She put a small bindi on the middle of her brows and again took on the towel and started drying her hair again.
"Sharon...!!!" She heard a sleepy, irritated voice.
She smiled and went near the bed. She shifted her hair with her hand from one side to another.
"Stop it, baby..." She heard him requesting.
She repeated her action.
"Baby, stop it or I am going to kiss you 200 and one times today!"
"You will miss your meeting then..." She replied and continued sprinkling drops of water from her hair on his face.
Suddenly she was dragged by him and she fell upon his chest with her wet hair falling on her face. He slowly put them behind her ears and Sharon found a smiling Swayam looking at her lovingly.
"I-don't-care" he exclaimed.
She smiled.
"OK now get up and leave me!" She ordered.
"Sharon...!!"
"Swayam...!!" She glared in fake anger.
"Did you forgot our daily routine?? " he asked caressing her back.
"Of course not!" She said before kissing his forehead.
"My turn!" Swayam smiled.
He leaned forward and looked at her forehead and leaving Sharon, got up. Sharon stood up with a jerk.
"What happened Swayam?" She asked confused.
"What the hell is this Sharon?" He burst out. "Sindoor kahan hai tumhara??"
Sharon put her hand on her hair line and realised she forgot to put the vermilion.
"Calm down Swayam, sayad main bhul gayi..." She tried to explain.
"What do you mean by bhul gayi?? How could you be so careless Sharon? How many times have I told you, you can't keep your hairline empty. I can't tolerate that!" Swayam shouted with out taking breath.
"Relax Swayam! Why need to be so hyper? It isn't like, I will not wear vermilion, it was a mistake. For god sake calm down!" Sharon said raising her voice equally.
She went to the dressing table and took out her vermilion box. She opened it when Swayam took it from her hand. She looked at him in anger.
"Sharon I.. I am really sorry. I shouldn't have shouted on you like that. It was just..."
He hugged her.
"I am sorry, baby!"
Sharon sighed. She hugged back.
"Its ok, Swayam. But you need to tell me, why do you always get angry for these things? Baby, it happens sometimes. Why so aggressive? Come on, tell me."
He broke the hug.
"Its nothing. I just don't want anyone to say anything odd for our relationship. You know my relatives right?? They just need a chance to point out. And they come here anytime, like, Maan-Na-Maan-Main-Tera-Mehmaan types. You know very well." He said cupping her face and caressing her cheek with his thumb.
"I understand Swayam but.."
"Shhh" he put his finger on her lips.
"Sharon I don't want to fight on stupid things. So let's forget it. And promise me, you will never again leave you hairline or neck empty. Promise??" He said keeping his hand on her waist.
"Promise!" Sharon smiled.
"Now if you allow, may I??" He said pointing towards the vermilion box in his hand.
"All yours, sir!" Sharon said.
Swayam opened the box and put a pinch of vermilion on her hairline. He then kept the box on the table and cupped her face with both the hands. Sharon closed her eyes and he came closer. He was about to touch her lips when he felt something invisibly entering his ear screaming his name. He stepped back in a jerk. Sharon opened her eyes. She was confused by his action.
"Why was that for??" She asked.
"Nothing, baby. Just remembered I have a very important meeting." He replied sweating.
"I wish I could kill the other woman in your life with my own hands." She said in disgust.
"Sharon..?!?" He was shocked.
"Just joking, baby. I am only indicating your work." She said before pecking on his lips.
"I will get your coffee." She left.
Swayam sat on bed and covered his face with his hands in tension.
"Aaj tak sirf tumhare Sindoor aur Mangalsutra ne Hume Salamat rakha hai, or else... But I can't tell you anything Sharon, I am helpless. Really very sorry!!" He thought.
