Hi Guys,
The theme continued from last episode.

Here is today's top five.

1) Experience and Responsibilities: Let your children take responsibilities. Let them explore. Let them taste failures, just as success. Let them taste set backs, just as triumphs. Let them see the ugly in this world, just as the beauty. They are more stronger than we think. You be the invisible support. You let them know that it is okay to fail. That it is okay not to triumph. Only then they will not fall apart when they fail. Only then they will pick themselves up when they are down. Just let them be...

Just want to add a point here. Every time the exam results are announced, at least one student, a small child commit suicide. Why? Is it not okay for them to fail in an exam than lose life? Yes it is important to pass, but it is equally important that the child be a well rounded, balanced and healthy(both physically and mentally) person.

2) Age of Curiosity and A questioning mind: Being new to the world, a child is always curious, always questioning. Everything is new to them. Everything is a new experience. But, as we grow we stop questioning. We lose that curiosity and take everything as is. We lose that sense of wonder and never take time to see around us and be amazed. Let children be encouraged to be curious, let them never hesitate to question. And let us learn from them and incorporate in our life too.

3) Rationality and Emotions: To love is an emotion. To be angry is an emotion. To have passion is an emotion. But when there is a lack of rationality with these emotions, you lose sight. When you let your emotions rule, and let your rationality decline, you become unreasonable. You do things in the height of passion which you regret later. But rationality without any emotion would not make you human. Because human beings are emotional. There has to be a fine balance between rationality and emotions.

4) Bond between the sisters: Sisters are like that. One minute they fight, one minute they patch up. One minute they pull each others leg and one minute they support each other. So many facets of relationships and all are equally endearing and are much needed. The food is bland without spices.

5) A Moment of Weakness and Lifetime of regret: This is related to point 3 above. I would like to re-iterate this section from my take on episode 3.

Life is made up of moments. Moments of triumphs, moments of failures, of happiness and of despair, of hope and of love, of unexpected courage and of moment of weakness.
Moments of time are very bad. It was all it took for a king to decide to draw the arrow. A moment was all it took for a son to leave his parents behind.

A moment is all it is required for a loving mother to turn selfish and send her step-son to forest. A moment is all it will need for a king to forget himself in his obsession with his young wife and give her an unconditional boon. A moment is all is needed for a wife to decide to follow her husband to forest. A moment is all it is needed to a sage to lose his rationality and curse his wife.

Moments are powerful.

Excellent post for a lovely episode👍🏼

That students committing Suicide
I have thought about it many a times
We just show them one world
That is filled with Studies,Exams ,marks, competitiveness
So once they fail in that they think that life had come to an end
They are just a part of life not life itself

So irrelevant can't resist commenting on that

Each point of urs were well conveyed😃

Fabulous take as usual.

When given responsibility the children are happy that their parents trust them so much. This in turn increases their self-confidence ...they go and do what they set out to do...and without experience how can anybody learn anything👏...this right here from Janak was fantastic...a very important lesson this for all of us.
