Shanta will later not be very happy with ram when sita is sent to vanvas.

She does come to ayodya to be with ram in the absence of siya.

I read this part in one of the innumerable stories about shantha.

There is a temple of Rishyashringa in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Idol of Shringa Rishi with goddess Shanta reside in the temple. This place is about 50 km from Kullu.
