Presenting a mythology in a different perspective will not be able to change the basic story, but yes, it will help to put mre emphasis on those parts of the story which went unnoticed. Hats of 2 ur excellent interpretation. I myself am not that much into mythological stories but joining this forum may make me understand more about it
thank u 4 making d post๐Ÿ˜Š

People around us say many things
But we can't change our stand for it
By giving into peoples gossips,Ram set an bad example

So does that mean following that
I should give more importance to people in society than my dear ones
Just bcos they are my responsibility

These epics are made for us
So we have the right to criticize it if we find something wrong
be it treta yuga or dwapara yuga or the present day
Epics are still followed,read,Portrayed,discussed
Then why not criticized

It's just my take

I am not saying ur wrong but I am not wrong either

This is why the show stands out to me, no one has made Ramayan from Sita's perspective and it was long time someone did because she is just as important as Ram.
Although, I do think that it doesn't make much of a difference but I do hope they explore all the themes you mentioned. Like Urmila, I don't think any other show has focused on her misery at all.
I also agree with the comments, King Janak is by far the most sensible king. For someone who lives in that time and holds so much power but doesn't let it go to his head is commendable ๐Ÿ‘

true.
Just the fact that it is frm sita's POV ensures the positive characterisation of Ram...
sita was the living example of an aadarsh bhartiy naari...
