Thanks for this post! I knew these stories beforehand but it's interesting to read them again.
Personally, I don't believe in any version that says Sita was born to Ravan and Mandodari, because she was Ayonija, a woman not born of another woman's womb, like Draupadi and Goddess Radha. Draupadi was born from fire and Radha appeared in a lotus flower. These three women are called Ayonija, so there's no way Sita can be Mandodari's daughter, plus that would give Ramayan an incestuous touch that's disgusting.

Hi welcome there are these stories prevalent from different scriptures and areas. We have to read all and believe what we want to even now Ram Navami in North India is celebrated as his birthday and down south as his Marriage day with Sita and Kalyanostavs are done in all major Ram temples on that day
