CHAP 19:
Nandini was crying in bedroom and manik was drinking like maniac in hall.
"uski aadat hai rishto ko kharab krne ki"
"kyun ki wo to hai hi aisa pehle se gira hua"
Manik gulped another shot in anger.
"inke khoon mein hain sab rishto ko barbaad krna"and he threw a glass in anger on floor. Nandini heard that voice and run to hall. She saw glass peaces on floor and manik was about to open the another bottle when nandini came and stop his hand.
"manik bs abhi bahot hua abhi aur kitna drink karenge aap. Jo hona tha wo ho gaya abhi us baat ko 6odiye aapne dinner nahi liya tha party mein. Main aapke liye kuch banati hoon." Nandini said lovingly and cupped his cheeks.
Manik gently pushed her hands away and said in calm tone "nandini pls leave me alone for sometime. Tum room mein jakar so jao muje bhukh nahi hai."
"nahi mein aapko 6odke nahi jaungi varna aap gusse mein apne aapko hurt karte rahenge." Nandini said.
"its ok nandini I m fine. Tum jao I wont hurt myself." He said and get up from chair but again nandini held his hand and nodded her head in no.and this this thing made manik more angry. He jerked her hand and held her hand tightly in his grip and pulled her to him with so much force because of sudden force bottle which was nandini holding, it slipped up from her hand scattered in pieces on floor with loud noise.
Manik twists her both hands behind her back and held it tightly with his one hand. She winced in pain. Manik with other hand grabbed her cheek tightly and again pulled her more to him. a lone tear escaped from her eye and closed her eyes tightly in fear.
"open your eyes damn it...and look at me" manik said in demanding tone but nandini dint open her eyes. Manik pressed her cheeks more and shout "I said open your eyes." This time nandini open her eyes and looked at manik with teary eyes. His eyes were full of red because of anger. Nandini shivered in fear and said "manik you are hurting me." Ignoring her statement he was just staring at her.
"you are hurt huh? And what about me? Muje hurt hua hai uska kya? Tunhare bhai ne jo aaj meri insult ki hai meri family ki mere blood ki uska kya? Usne tumhe kuch nahi kaha hai it was me only and my family jiske bare mein wo bakwas kiye ja raha tha aur sab waha chup chap khade hoke sun rahe the including you" manik said angrily and nandini was just standing there silently and she was crying but it didn't effect manik.
"tumhe koi fark nhi padta k wo kya bol rha hai because he is your brother and I am nothing for you why would you said anything for me to defend me to stop your brother?" manik said in no sense that what is he talking and it will hurt badly nandini.
"kitni aasani se you said that forget everything but I cant because it was on my family, and I cant even listen a word against my family chahe ku6 bhi ho chahe koi bhi ho" manik said and left her with jerk and nandini stumbled on her feet and rubbed her hands and wiped her tears.
"now just go..." manik said and this time time nandini didn't stay there and she ran to room and sat on bed and she was crying hugging her knees.
Manik held his head in his hand and said "damn it...ye kya kr diya maine why I always blame nandini for everything? she took my side today in front everyone and what I did with her? I hurt her badly...I should say sorry" with that he also went to room.
IN DHAWAN HOUSE:
Cabir entered in his room and threw his blazer on bed angrily. Cabir was pacing in his room from here to there to control his anger. Navya also came behind him and ria was sleeping in her arms. She made her lay down on bed and called her maid.
"aap ria ko lekar uske kamre mein sula dijiye hum aate hain baad mein" navya said in slow tone and maid picked her up and left form there. Navya placed her hand on his shoulder and rubbed his shoulder a little but cabir take it off and said "no..navya not today aaj nhi aaj main apne control mein nhi hoon"
"cabir main janti hoon aap pareshaan hai lekin.." before she could complete her sentence cabir turned and said "lekin what haan? What? Tum hi thi na wo jo nandini ki side lekar bol rhi thi k muje nandini ko maaf kr dena chahiye and all..and look what she had done today she took manik's side in front of me I cant believe that jerk manipulates her mind with that level, I mean how can he stoop so low? Bloody..."
"manik nandini ka husband aap chahe yaan na chahe yhi haqiqat hai cabir and accept this your sister loves you both har baar wo chup rehti hai aur aaj usne pehli baari manik ki side li to you are reacting in this way.." navya also said angrily.
"wow I cant believe my own wife is not on my side" cabir said and clapped his hands and navya closed her eyes.
"cabir hamara matlab ye nhi tha hum ye keh reh hai k nandini bahot khush hai manik ke sath...apko to hamesha se nandini ki khushi hi chahiye thi then what happens now? aap khush ho jate agar uski shadi Aryamaan se ho jati chahe phir wok hush rhe na rhe" navya tried to make him understand.
"I don't care the only thing I know is that she choose him over me that's it.." cabir said and navya sighed.
"agar past mein wo sab hua na hota aur aaj nandini aur manik ek sath hote to aap hi sab se zyada khush hote to phir ab kyun nhi cabir past ko bhulne ki koshish kijiye, aise har waqt nafrat mein jine se ku6 fayda nhi koi khush nhi reh payega cabir, main jis cabir ko janti thi aap won hi hai aap to kbhi kisi se nafrat nhi krte the but aaj aap nandini se bhi itni nafrat krte hai wo to apki jaan thi na cabir? nandini aaj bhi aapki utni respect hai aaj bhi wo aap se utna hi pyar krti hai jitna wo pehli krti thi cabir sirf aapko dikh nhi rha hai" navya said and cabir looked at her.
"no wo sirf aur sirf manik Malhotra se pyar krti hai sirf usse kisi aur ki usse koi parwa nhi hai" cabir said in anger and navya sighed in defeat.
"fine agar aapko yhi lagta hai to yhi sahi aapko nafrat ne pagal kr diya hai cabir, aap pyar krna bhul gye hai, karo aap sab se nafrat hi kro mujse bhi nafrat krne lagna iss baat pr main kyun nandini ki side le rhi hoon" navya said and took her night gown and went to ria's room.
IN MANAN'S FLAT:
Nandini was sitting on edge of the bed. She was hiccupping and her hands were in her lap. She was still in that saree. Manik closed his eyes in guilt. He entered in the room and nandini noticed him and she get down from bed and she was about to go but manik held her shoulders and made her sit again and he kneeled down in front of her and take her hands. She jerked it away manik smiled a little and again held her hand but she again jerked it and manik again held her hand and this time tightly and nandini was struggling in his grip. Manik smiled and said "aise nhi 6odunga main tumhara hath jaan" nandini looked at him and stopped her struggling.
"I am sorry my baccha I m really sorry maine bahot hurt kiya meri princess ko kisi aur ka gussa maine apni jaan pe nikal diya" manik said lovingly but nandini didn't react on his words.
"baby pls just look at me once jaana you know na main aise nhi dekh skta tumhe?" manik caressed her palm with his thumb and she looked at him.
"no manik its okay ab to muje aadat ho jani chahiye in sab ki aapke gusse ki aur ap dono ki dushmani ki, na hi aapko na hi bhai ko fark padta hai k muje kaisa lagta hoga, agar aapki tarafdari kru to bhai ko lgta hai k main unka pyar bhul gyi aur agar bhai ki side li to phir aapko lagta hai k main aapse pyar nhi krti right?" nandini said and she get up from bed but manik pulled her and make her sit on bed again.
"aisa nhi hai baby you think ye sab easy hai tumhe lagta hai k hamari shadi hone se matter aur sulaj jayegi no nandini ye kbhi nhi hoga, mere aur cabir ke bich jo hua hai wo kbhi chah kr hum nhi bhul skte" manik said and nandini looked at him and cupped his cheek.
"manik hum koshish to kr skte hai na sab ku6 pehle jaise ho jaye agar aap chahe to" nandini said and manik kissed her palm.
"jaan agar tum mujse puri duniya bhi mangti na to main wo lakar tumhare kadmo mein rakh deta but this is impossible at least for me, main ye kbhi nhi bhul skta k cabir ne kaise sb ke samne.." he stopped himself and nandini looked at him with teary eyes.
"kya manik boliye na main jan na chahti hoon in sab ke bare mein pls mera haq hai" nandini said and manik get up from floor and he was about to go but nandini held his hand and stopped him.
"no nandini main ye baat kbhi share nhi karuga tumhare sath agr tumhe ye baat pata chalni hogi to chal jayegi pls don't force me jaan aur tuhe lagta hai k tum koshish krogi aur sab pehle jaisa ho jyaga? No nandu aisa kbhi nhi hoga nafrat krte hai hum ek doosre se aur shayad cabir zyada krta hai pls jaan jo jaisa hai usse waise rehne do, I don't want to lose you pls" manik said in pleading tone and nandini hugged him and placed her head on his heart and rubbed his chest to calm him down.
Manik wiped his tear and kissed on her head and said in his mind "uss incident ne mujse bahot ku6 chhin liya hai jaan ab main tumhe nhi kho skta main kbhi bhi ye baat tumhe pata nhi chalne dunga kbhi bhi nhi cabir ko fab 5 ko hko chuka hoon ab tumse door nhi ho skta" nandini kissed on his heart and manik smiled.
"a6a abhi aap fresh ho jaiye main ku6 dinner prepare krti hoon aap ke liye" nandini said and broke hug and manik looked at her and smiled.
"it okay baby ku6 order kr lete hai tum bhi thak gyi ho" manik said and nandini nodded her head in no.
"jee nhi aap fresh ho jaie tab tak main ku6 bana lungi der nhi lagegi pls" nandini said and pout her lips. Manik kissed on her forehead and went to bathroom. Nandini also changed in other room and went to kitchen.
After half an hour manik came out from bathroom with fresh mood and went to hall and saw that nandini was arranging dishes on table. Nandini give a cute smile to her and he smiled and came near her. She was wearing only his shirt. She only ware this shirt when she wants to make him happy.
"aap ho gye fresh thik hai aap jaldi se beth jaye main chapatti lekar aati hoon" nandini said and went to kitchen. Manik opened the lid of the pot and saw his favorite sabzi aloo mutter and he closed his eyes and went to their sweet memories.
FLASHBACK:
"mom jaldi khana lao bhukh lagi hai aur ye bhukkad bhi mere sath hai" cabir shout from dining table and manik was enjoying his sandwich.
"saale kitna khayega tu haan abhi ye bhi kha rha hai aur phir khana bhi khayega" cabir said and manik ignored his comments on his food.
"ye lo tum dono ki favorite sabzi" cabir's mother said and put bowl of their favorite sabzi and both looked at each other and put their hands on lid of bowl.
"dekh cabir pehle maine hath rakha tha to pehle main lunga phir bachega wo main tuje de duga jaa tub hi kya yaad rakhega" manik said and he was about to opened the lid but cabir slapped his hand and said "arre wah ye dekho maa ne specially mere liye banaya hai aur tuje main doon chal chal tu apni sandwich kha" cabir's mother was smiling on their sons stupid fight.
"bas bahot hua wait main tum dono ko serve kr deti hoon na kisi ko kum na kisi ko zyada" his mother said and both agreed.
"mom pehle aap muje khilaye phir main khaunga" cabir said and opened his mouth.
"seriously tuje lgta hai aunty apne iss handsome bte ko 6od kr pehle tuje khilyaegi come on cabir pehla bite mera, aunty pehle aap muje khilao" manik also opened his mouth.
Cabir's mother take two bite in her her hands and feed them at same time. And both smiled and start to eat their sabzi and on every bite they praised her.
FLASHBACK END:
Manik was smiling at the same time nandini came out and saw his smile. Nandini put chapatti on table and manik came out from trance.
"kya hua manik aap aise muskura rhe the?" nandini aksed and served food to his plate.
"wo ye sabzi.meri aur cabir ki favorite thi, tumhari mom ke hath ki hi pasand thi muje aur tumhe pata hai nandini hum dono kitna ladte the aunty ke hath se pehla bite khane ke liye aise hi hota tha har baar agar wo mere ghar pe aata tha mom ke hath ka Italian food khane ke liye aur to bhi hum dono aise hi ladte ki kaun pehle khayega aur jab bhi uska dhyan nhi hota tha main uski plate main se kitni baar kha leta tha that was so funny aur.." manik stopped himself and looked at nandini and she was smiling brightly.
"thik hai aaj main aapko khilati hoon" nandini said and sat beside his chair and feed him. manik was also feeding her and after sometime they finish their dinner and manik went to balcony and lit his cigarette. Two tiny hands crawled from back side and hugged him from back. manik smiled and threw his cigarette in ash tray. He turned and hugged her and said "come baby lets sleep you are looking so tired" he take her in his arms and made her lay down on bed, he was about to lie down beside her but she pulled his vest and he fell on her.
"what are you doing baby?" manik asked lovingly and rubbed his thumb on her lips and nandini closed her eyes. Manik kissed on her forehead and said "baby sleep you are very tired" but nandini placed her fingers on his lips and said "ssshhh...today I wanna make love to you" manik smiled and lay down beside her and pull her on him.
Nandini kissed on his forehead on his cheeks and on his mole. Nandini leaned down on his lips and manik clutched her waist tightly and nandini slammed her lips on him. that was it for manik he also start responding her.
He was chewing her lips and nandini surrender herself. Manik was caressing her thigh and nandini clutched his shoulders tightly. Manik switched their position and broke the kiss. He impatiently opened her shirt's button and threw it on the floor and start to relishing her body and nandini was just moaning his name and sometime screaming his name.
After sometime manik claimed her with his passionate love and tears were flowing down from her eyes and he collapse on her and nuzzled in her neck. Nandini was ruffling his hair and kissed his hair. Manik lie down beside her and pull her in his arms and "I love you" whispered in her ears. After sometime both drifted to sleep.
