Imtiaz Ali or kabir khan the better director??

Kabir Khan. Imtiaz is a glorified Madhur Bhandarkar. 

Imtiaz Ali.

Vijayendra Prasad is the main person behind Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Take that out of Kabir's filmography, and he's good but not great.

But Kabir's films have better concepts - terrorism and destruction. Imtiaz usually makes romcoms.

Both are good directors. Depends on what you prefer.

Those two + Sriram Raghavan, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap are the best Bolly have.

One is a wannabe cool traveler and the other is a wannabe intellectual war correspondent. Both are wannabes. At least Imtiaz made two entertaining movies and wrote another. 

Kabir Khan . Couldn't watch any Imtiaz movie except JWM

Both are awesome directors in their genres but I prefer Kabir Khan's films, they're more engaging. I dozed off during Rockstar in the theatre.

I like the kinda movies Kabir Khan makes.
