Survi: An innocent 14 year old girl who's life revolves around her father. He is her family and she can't stand to be away from him. She has been taught by her father that wrong doings don't bring you happiness and she follows this in every step of her life. Her friendship with Karthik's sister Shanti is unbreakable. Survi knows Karthik from her childhood as they lived in the same chawl. Roshni Walia plays the role of Survi.

Karthik: An ambitious 23 year old who gives priority to his family. He admired Bhau who took care of him, his sister and mother after his father's death. He had wanted to become like Bhau and manage the business of selling weapons and pirated good. He has great respect for Tayi and considers her children (his cousins) as his own siblings. He stayed too focused on becoming like Bhau that he did not understand the anxiety of his mother who fears that Karthik would end up doing something wrong for sucess. Karthik has an undying respect for Srikant(Survi's father). He is forever greatful to the man especially after Srikant left his house to Karthik. In four years, by the time he was 23, Karthik became a successful businessman. He is forever thankful to srikant for believing in him. On the other hand he respect Tayi and takes care of her and her children after Bhau's death

Karthik and Survi are two different people who get bounded by a promise. The story starts in 2003 when Survi is 9 and Karthik is 19. Survi is kept captive by the police who threatens her father into betraying Bhau so that the police can arrest him. Karthik ends up where Survi is held hostage and he rescues himself and her from the place. By the time they get to Karthik's house Bhau gets killed and Tayi blames Srikant. Karthik had always admired Bhau and his death brought a lot of hatred for Srikant. Though Karthik was furious and vengeful Srikant talked to him with love and made him understand that Karthik's dream of becoming like Bhau isn't a good goal. Srikant leaves with Survi to Dubai while he gives his house to Karthik. This is the last time KarVi see each other in the beginning episodes.
There's a four year leap where it's shown that Survi handles the house while Srikant goes to work. One day Karthik end up at her doorstep and tells her that her father had been framed and arrested by the police. Karthik had flown to Dubai at short notice when Srikant called since he respected the man and was very grateful to him. When Karthik realizes that Srikant will not get released anytime soon, he promises to take care of Survi till Srikant is a freeman.
Back in Mumbai Karthik realizes that survi has not changed at all and they have their share of nok-jhoks. Tayi doesn't allow Survi into the house and since Karthik made a promise that his first priority is Tayi and her children, he had to arrange for Survi to stay in an orphanage. The orphanage turned out to be dangerous and the woman running the place tries to sell Survi. Karthik catches the criminals red handed and decides to hide Survi in his house.

The rules have already been stated at YVR Rules & Guidelines and ATTN: New & Updated AT Rules/Guidelines. but I thought I mention the important ones here.

1. This AT is only for discussion regarding KarVi/AnShni. Discussions related to any other character/show should be avoided unless it is related to KarVi/AnshNi .

2. Do not quote more than three times. It get's difficult to read.

3.No bashing of any character/actor or I-F member.

4.Once this thread reaches pg125 a new thread will be made but DO NOT res or comment on the new thread till current thread touches 150 pages.
