I dunno about dat but my granny, mom & her siblings were residing in Guntakal for few years during their childhood. So they knew telugu, infact they love telugu more than our mother tongue tamil...

so you are tamil+telugu=tamugu..

Actually 100% tamil only but my family talk telugu so I started to understand it clearly but can't talk like them in a flow & I started to learn hindi coz of my own interest & of course english. So in the end I always have a mix of these languages😃
