She was 3 when i met her for the first time. Dark brown eyes, shoulder length hair, button nose. In a cute pink frock she looked like a Barbie. 14 year old me was fascinated with her. I just wanted to talk to her as I saw her telling something to mom explaining them with her hands. Her eyes were shining like stars. As i went towards her to speak to her, she looked at me with her big eyes...
M: hi I'm Manik
She looked at me once n then at my hand that i held towards her... looked towards her mother n walked away. My friendship was REJECTED.
She was my sister's best friend and would come often to my house. Our families too were close friends n business partners.
Years passed...she was 9 now. A beautiful girl of her age. The two girls are even more close now. They are always together. Whenever she comes home mom pushes me to party n clubs. I wonder why?
Few months after her 9th birthday, we were at a dinner at her place. When through conversations otherwise the topic of marriage came up.
Dad: me n Venkat have taken a decision.

It was a funny idea of marrying this kid. But somewhere i felt happy about it . i knew i interrupted my thoughts.
"no i wont marry him. He is so ewwwew. He wont play doll house with me. I don't like him." I felt hurt at her rejection. Along with that came anger n possessiveness. How can she say she wont be mine? She has to be mine i will make sure of it.
As days passed by she became my favourite pastime. I used to observe her from far away. 10 yrs old Nandini Murthy was a lonely child. Her parents fought constantly, that have somehow affected her growing years. She only spoke to my sister, her supposed bff. By now they were always together. Spending all their waking hours in each others house.
Dad passed away n overnight the Murthy's shifted somewhere. My doll was no more in front of me. Nyonika left. She hated me, even more now. Court gave my sister to Nyonika. She was sent to hostel. Where? I dint know.
I took up business. But the only thought that was in my mind 24 hrs. I missed my baby, my little to-be bride terribly. It was one fine day when my detective informed that Nandini was studying in my shimla school. My sister too was found. Both bffs were together. I felt at the top of the world. I immediately started off to space.
Today when i stood infront of her i felt that she would recognise me. My doll, my baby. As i held her hand she pushed me away. When i went to that room to speak to her she hit me as an expression of rejection. I couldn't take this rejection today . hence i behaved like this with her. Though seeing her in pain i feel bad but she too needs to understand that SHE IS MINE. She cant reject me now.
As I'm travelling back to Mumbai its just a break so that my littlt bride to be can enjoy her last days as a spinster cuz next time i will be back to take my wife.
Next time both NAVYA n NANDINI will be back with me to their original place. This time no Nyonika or Harshad can stop me.

I think the chapter is boring. But this part was nessacery at this point of the story. Since some of u ppl think the subject is harassing n taboo. This part doesn't change anything of manik's behaviour. He would still be a monster.
