Never expected Pratibha to end so soon: Binny Sharma

Zee TV's Hello Pratibha(Shakuntalam Productions), which went on air only in the beginning of this year, is going off air. The cast wrapped up shoot on 20 July and it will air its last episode today (24 July).

The lead of the soap, Binny Sharma, who plays Pratibha on the show, is sad with the serial's sudden closure.

When contacted the beautiful actress, she shared, "I never expected the show to end so soon. I had a lot of expectation from it. I thought it would easily run for two years. Shakuntalam is a great production house, but I don't know what went wrong that we had to bid adieu to the serial so soon. I don't know whom to blame as being an actor, you have to get used to all these things. I have made good memories with the show and its cast."

She added, "Our show would have a happy ending with all the story arcs tied together at the end."

The storyline was really not happening and it was a Sunidhi show instead of Pratibha...

Yfs.

Well i didn't watch this show. It looks like it was made for aunties. But I am proud of Binny for saying her feelings. Also for her efforts to look like the character (looking older than her own age).

About Shakuntalam Productions. It is bad luck for it. 2 of its shows are going off air:HP and Shastri Sisters.

I'm sorry that the show didn't stay around for long but if the writers didn't have continous negativity it may have survived longer. It was constant and in some case humiliating for Pratibha and her parents. When they did show her having a little bit of happiness, they shut it down with that witch Sunidhi plotting every time. I would have loved to watch it for some more time but the writers insisted on keeping it depressing.
