Colors never liked AshishThey took him just for RR promotion nd thought he is not v popular just a descent dancer who could represent colors...When JDJ started they took KT , Mauni in CNWK but not AS - why ?? they didnt trust his dancing skills or fanbase...But when he started performing well than the above mentioned nd got good amt of votes then they started underscoring him (some prob they had with ST thtz why removed DD from JDJ anchoring nd kept the other anchor) to throw him out ...plus RR was not working for them either...And started overscoring the other two...But what to do this made RR nd handful(as few say) AS fans to retaliate even more and make him take the trophy...Those who r saying now rubbish things like rigged blah blaah shud check previous JDJ 7 forum where all rooted for AS after their favs...Plus he has no celebrity types aura which attracted general viewers also (i heard many aunties saying he is such a sweet gharelu type boy)Plus RR ending nd AS last words in spider man act triggered many RR fans not AS fans also to vote...Now also when all this over KT has done so many dance performances in colors awrd func but AS has again be forgotten ...I think he was colors step boy and got a stepmotherly treatment likeways

And for Star Plus, this will be yet another biggie for them, post the success of the huge Mahabharat.
Well, as we know, planning for the show has been on for quite some time now. And here's the first exclusive volley of news coming from the show.
Tellychakkar.com has got reliable information that the very popular Ashish Sharma who has been a class-apart in whatever he has taken up till now, has apparently bagged the lead role of Maryada Purushottam Ram.
As per a reliable source, "The extensive search for the lead characters of Ram and Sita has been going in many big cities of the country for a while now. Though the team has not yet locked the girl to play Sita, the show's Ram has been found. Ashish Sharma will in all probability play the prized role."
As for Ashish, he has been part of shows like Gunahon Ka Devta, Chandragupta Maurya, Rab Se Sohna Ishq, Rang Rasiya. He was crowned winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7, and recently hosted Tujhse Naaraaz Nahin Zindagion & TV.
Another information coming across on Siya Ke Ram is that the mythological will not be shot in Mumbai, but in Hyderabad at the Ramoji Film City. A huge set is being erected at the place, is what we hear.
We tried contacting Ashish Sharma, but he remained unavailable for comment.
