Dont believe everything that you see on TV, yes domestic violence is an issue, not only in Pakistan but everywhere. I have personally never seen such things, but I have heard it from the help/masi.
I wish they show more Dramas like Kankar, Daagh and rehaai where the women stood up against bullies.

I agree with you in this matter because this is a part of every society ,but I was just emphasizing over our dramas which have so much hold globally and we are known throughout the world through this part of media , and that part disturbs me .I know this trp thing and business ,but when people say that to you that this is how your culture is and so on and on...

that makes me really sad.

i dont mind showing the evil but ending should be on a positive side. Like kankar and Daagh . people like to watch dramas in life but there should be some sort of limit to that mess as well. Kidnapping , forced abortion is too prevalent in drama's.
i like the way durr e shawar showed problems in marriage and the solving was a compromise. Yes i think that is needed in life and that women do have to suffer a little extra. it is ok at times with situation. One has to be giving in the life.
Kankar yes there were all of the evil but loved the way main lead stood up for her self and did not give in with pressure. It showed positive message .
Daagh again very much positive message. almost every evil you name was there but woman comes through with her strength.
ZGH same thing struggle in life and it end with a positive note.
meaning less domestic violence should not be glorified and women should not be shown helpless poor thing. it send wrong message to our society.
