I am not sure if this is poetry or prose. I'm not even sure if this is creative.
The following stanza(italics) from Rashmirathi gave me this idea.
I have imagined Karna's last moments as the Sun sets.
A conversation of sorts between Karna and Suryadev.
I have thought of continuing it. Let me know if it is worth continuing.😆

Main unka aadarsh, kahi vyatha na khol sakenge
Puchhega jag, par pita ka naam na bol sakenge.
Jinka nikhil vishwa me koi naa apna hoga.
Mann me liye umang jinhe, chir kaal kalapna hoga.

-Karna-Suryadev! stay a little longer. Stay till my light lasts...
I have dedicated every act of charity in your name
Your radiance has urged me to live another day, everyday
It has given me the strength to sustain and to make my mark.
Stay, for I have questions...
My complaints are exhausted but the questions linger.
All my brothers waivered... Yet they were steadied by His hand
Why didn't the Lord influence me when I began to go astray?
My parents looked up to me...I was their treasure
I didn't belong.
I was too good for the race, deified by them
I was too low for the rest...
condemned as rebellious.
Is there no equal?
They called me special. Gifted.
Why couldn't I blend in? Not with good nor with evil.
Have I a purpose? Or was I just an anomaly?
Born too early to a mother unwilling...
Just one conversation, don't set yet
Wait, just one moment Suryadev.
Just one moment without shadows, silence
Don't I deserve that before eternal darkness?
