I'm not sure if this was discussed or not, but I finally realise why we didn't get the airport scene. The airport scene wouldn't have had any significane because Ruhi was there as well and they most likely just said Salaam to one another, thus making it an unofficial first meet.

There would've been no point in an airport scene or even bits about them in the car. I liked how we only got the shot of the doors opening and Ruhi-Farah entering the haveli as Wali lead them. It was quite cool. Now that Zaya has given a screeshot proof that Wali/Farah scene which I thought had been cut hasn't actually aired yet, I am quite pleased with their entry scene in the haveli 😆
