When Emaan comes to know that Shehriyar married her in haste to avoid marrying Sajal and goes against his parents wishes,she is shocked. She tries to understand Shehriyar during the course of the marriage,his likes and his dislikes,his quirks etc.She doesn't question his relationship with his parents,his actions or his intentions and plays second fiddle to him.She tries her best to be a good wife,she cooks for him and cares about him.Emaan is insecure that her marriage is not very strong and tries her best to appease Shahriyar.She thinks that she can make Shahriyar happy and mend his estranged relationship with his parents by delivering a grandchild.Since Shahriyar is the only child of his parents,Emaan wants Shahriyar's genes to be carried forward and is not in favor of adoption.

Being a woman,Emaan wanted a baby from the marriage.When she came to know that she can't have a baby,she was devastated.When shehriyar told her that he didn't see love in their marriage,she decided that that was the last straw and there was no point of the marriage and decided to separate from him.If Shehriyar granted her a divorce or she could get a khula,she would have left Shehriyar to his own fate.

However,both Emaan's parents and Shahriyar stopped her from taking a drastic step.Then she decided to play God to prove her innocence and make everyone happy. She asks Shahriyar's parents to get Sajal married to Shahriyar.She persuades Sajal to marry Shahriyar.She persuades Shahriyar to marry Sajal on the pretext that she will continue to live with him.Emaan knows that Shahriyar doesn't love Sajal.However,she thinks that atleast Sajal can give him a grandchild which she can't.She thinks that Shehriyar's and Sajal's love will blossom in due course once the baby is born.

Emaan's attachment to Shanaam is obvious.However, her actions are not for winning Shanaam's love or attention.Emaan loves Shahriyar and wants to sacrifice her love to make his life better.She thinks that that getting Shahriyar and Sajal married is the best possible solution in the present circumstances and hence her actions.

Emaan's doesn't have any plan in mind,leave alone a concrete plan, for her own life.She clearly knows that she doesn't have a place in Shahriyar's life after his marriage to Sajal.She thinks that once shahriyar and sajal are married,she will step out of his life and shahriyar will provide her financial security.Or she will continue to live as his second wife.

The point here is about priorities and they both had other priorities but at least Sheheryar accepted his mistake
