JOURNEY TO LOVE
Part 1
Mentally smacking my fate of not getting a seat reserved in the AC compartments, i sat beside the window pane gazing to nowhere. Deserved in a last minute planned journey.
The railway station was still in a hustle bustle at this late hour of nine or ten.
The same way my family had bid me adieu from Chandigarh a couple of years back, many were bidding their near and dear ones a good bye. Whom do I own here in Delhi to bid me?
"Raman, some are coming to see me day after tomorrow"
"Kyun? Tumhe kya hua hai ki sab dekhne aa rahe hai?"
"Kya mazaak uda rahe ho mere? Obviously shaadi ke liye" she told with a cute pout
"YTo karlo na shaadi. Buraai kya hai. Uss ladke ko bhi achhe sabak milenge" I mumbled fairly trying to hide my disappointment
"Burai nahi accha hai. Woh aapse zyaada successful hai, well settled hai"
"To kar lo na jo chahiye woh", I said in anger. Before she could say anything back, Mrs. Arora called
"Beti, zara andar aao. Dekho saare intezaam teek hai ya nahi"
"Haan mamma aa rahi hoo" giving me an angry glare. Last glare I added
"Yaatriyan kripaya dhyaan dee jiye
Gaadi number 12472 Jammu Tawi se Mumbai tak jaane waali Swaraj Express thodi hi der mein platform number chaar se rawaana hogi"
A girl of mid 20s climbed up and occupied the seat in front of me. The jingling sound of her bangles brought me out of the trance. Beautiful she was.Edited by littlejenny313 - 9 years ago
