Upa Pandavas celebrated the success of Arjun with great pleasure. The youngest one Kirti ran to Dhrisht and asked.' Pitasri will kill those bad people and bring Mata to me. Mama,let us go to Mata. Panchali looked into the waters of Ganga and reminisced the same incident that Arjun also is recollecting with a smile on his face...It was the time when Indraprasth celebrated the marriage of Arjun with Subhadra who returned ten days back. But the queen of Indraprasth certainly is not in a mood to forgive Arjun's multiple marriages.She fumed when she saw Subhadra alongside Arjun and desparately tried to control herself among public but unhesitantly revealed her displeasure when her husband tried to win back her heart. She knew she loved him rather passionately and avoided as much as possible to be with him all alone. But Arjun is clever enough to find some chance and made his advances in his irresistibly charming ways. That evening Royal guests were invited to bless the bride and bridegroom and a grand feast was arranged for them. Priyamvada deliberately arranged a big jasmine garland in Panchali's hair much against the protest of Panchali who renounced Jasmines since twelve years . She wore a cream colour silk saree with simple thread work and did not wear ornaments.Her short chain of black beeds looked so beautiful round her swan like neck. She wanted to remove the jasmines but did not want to hurt Priyamvada. When every one is going on the Dias and blessing the couple,Panchali could not control her irritation . The man who left her twelve years in solitude still not satisfied with that and brought Subhadra with him. Heartless husband,she blamed him in her heart. Just then Kunti called her and asked her to bring pearl set that was there in the treasury room. She forgot to include that in Subhadra's gifts. Panchali sighed with relief as she wanted to run away from him.As she opened the treasury she felt two muscular arms hug her from behind. Panchali turned and realised she became a prisoner in Arjun's arms.But Arjun is freely inhaling the fragrance of jasmines taking them in his hand. He then caressed her neck and whispered.' You know how I waited to see jasmines in your hair.Why did you stop adorning them? Masi told me you stopped wearing them when I left. Look at them. They are complaining me how heartless you became." Panchali tried to get out of his hands and retorted. ' They are saying how flirtatious your husband is.And you are world famous for your flirty nature along side your valour." Arjun smiled disarmingly pulling her closer.' You are forgetting an important thing. I didn't flirt with them. They came to me besotted. What shall I do then?" Arjun bent down and kissed on her eyes. Then he proceeded downwards. Panchali felt her senses are not in her control. His proximity,his touch is making her electrified. She looked at the entrance of the room and shouted.' Masi,I am coming."Arjun left her and turned back to find no one there. He understood her prank but before he could hold her again he saw her leaving the room biting her lower lip and with a teasing smile at the corner of her eyes...Panchali smiled looking into the waters. How ecastic that moment was. She wanted to submit herself there in that treasury room without thinking about anything but her ego prevented her to do so. She closed her eyes and chanted.Come back to me Arjun,soon,Very soon.

Draupadi and Sita can not be equated on the outer level but they can be considered as the manifestation of the same Shakti power that is referred by different names on the spiritual level. Devi Bhagawat says that Vedavati ,the incarnation of Lakshmi became Sita in Treta Yug and Draupadi in Dwapar Yug.

The heaven has its own splendour that distinguishes it from Earth. The golden mansions,jewel crested walls,beautiful gardens but Arjun placed Indraprasth above heaven as it reminds him the Khandava Dahan,Madhav's unparalleled wisdom,Maya's gratitude,the happy faces of their children ,loving gazes of all his wives and last but not least,his Queen's passionate love for him. Heaven looked artificial and stale with the residents leading lazy and luxurious life. Ofcourse his father Indra treated him with genuine love and ordered the gods to grant their special Astras to his son.Varuna gave his Varun Pasa ,Yama gave his Danda and Kubera granted him Kauberastr. Indra gave him Vajra the invincible Astra With great affection.To Arjun's surprise Indra made him sit on his lap with tears falling from his eyes.He then made him share his Simhasan ( Throne) and caressed the beautiful face of his son with his hand that always holds Vajrayudh.The Devine damsels stared at Arjun's handsome form and served him with admiration.The Indrasabha looked special because of having the greatest archer there illuminating the luscious Sudharma hall with his charm and beauty. On the order of Indra,The Apsaras Rambha,Urvasi,Menaka and Tilottama danced to celebrate the arrival of Indra's son.Arjun stared at Urvasi who is the mother of his race because she got married to Pururav,his ancestor. She excelled in dancing and singing scoring over others. Arjun who is an artist himself enjoyed very much as it is refreshing to his mind after such severe penance on the snowy peaks. He then retired to the bejewelled palace alotted to him by Indra. The night shone with stars and moon ,Arjun stood near the window gazing at the moon reminiscing the intoxicating moonlit nights of Indraprasth spent with his Krishnaa,The cosy embrace she used to gift him after being pampered ,getting rid of her inhibitions. Arjun sighed in desperation. When would he meet his wife who is suffering in the forest? Indra said that he has to learn Prayog and Upasamhar of Devine Astras with sufficient dedication. After that Indra told him that he has to do a favour for gods by means of his valour. So still he has to bear separation from his wife for a longer period. Arjun suddenly came out of his thoughts hearing the tinkling sound of Payal.He turned back and saw Urvasi before him.She is looking radiant with hair flowing down her waist,her hands and shoulders wreathed with scented flowers.She wore a transparent white saree that is revealing her perfect curves and can lure even the sages. Her waist belt is hanging down her naval adorning her swaying hips . Arjun looked at her beautiful face with eyes turned red indicating her passion and her full red lips parted as if to invite the man she loved. She approached him with slow steps and touched his right cheek with her left hand making Arjun guess the intention of her visit. Arjun is in dilemma . Why did she comeat this odd hour of nite? Arjun got embarassed.Urvasi started in her love struck tone. ' Son of Indra,Don't look surprised. My desire for you compelled me to come here at this odd hour of nite. So many times I heard the sages and Narada sing your prizes. I also heard how besotted the beautiful maidens on the earth to posess you and experience the bliss of union with you. But I know only a select few like Draupadi,Subhadra,Ulupi,Chitra,Arya Rekha and Alli became fortunate by possessing you. When I saw you in heaven,I can't control myself. I never saw any one as desirable as you before. I am burning with passion ever since I cast my eyes on you. Now don't waste time. Fulfill my desire and save me from this torture." Urvasi ran her hand on his face,pressing his lips and then passionately touched his mighty shoulders,feeling the bow marks and roughness of his skin. Arjun was in shock. He was not new to besotted maidens and their advances towards him.But Urvasi! How could he accept her wish? She was the wife of his revered ancestor. Moreover he promised his Krishnaa that he will never indulge in any more affairs.Arjun took a step back and ran his hand through his hair.Why would he always be entangled with women? Madhav used to tease him about his reputation of a womaniser. And Nakul...? Urvasi glanced at his hesitating eyes and assured him. ' Dont worry. Your father knew that I came here. Anyway there is no restriction for enjoyment in heaven.Now take me and grace me with your close embrace.Arjun stopped her with his hands folded in respect.'Mother,Please forgive me for not accepting your wish.you are the wife of the great Pururav. I take pride in being born in this race that originated from you. Please bless me with your gracious words." Urvasi got the shock of her life. She fumed at him and thrashed him.' Why are you forgetting that it is your duty as a Kshatriya to accept a woman who came to you with longing and passion? I heard you are chivalrous and romantic which was proved by your dalliances with Ulupi for example and all others whom you accepted as your wives. The beautiful apsaras of heaven envied me when they saw me coming to you on this beautiful night. They all always thought that spending one night with you will be a memorable experience. We all knew that you are the favoured husband of the most beautiful woman of Aryavarth. Now by accepting me you will be the coveted one for the most beautiful woman of Heaven. " Arjun became serious. He replied with clarity and confidence. ' Sorry,Mother,I can not change my mind. Never. Please try to understand. " Urvasi shivered with anger.Her anklets jingled Her flower garlands swung rapidly . She uttered the harshest words that Arjun had ever heard from a woman.' You are not man enough to respond to my passionate desire. So be a eunuch and live like a womanThat is my curse to you." Shedding hot tears,Urvasi turned back swayed away,leaving the scent of flowers all around and making the Finest man of Aryavarth stood stupified. Arjun doesn't know how long he stood in trance thinking of the curse and his ill fate. Suddenly he felt the soothing arms of Indra round his shoulders. He said in a soft voice.' My son, you are the first man to resist Urvasi,the pride of heaven.She is too upset with you. She can not recover from her heart break. But don't worry. I will turn her curse into a boon. You will endure the curse for one year in your incognito. It will help you stay unrecognised and serve your purpose.now learn dancing from Chitrasen along with your Warfare training. You will be victorious in incognito and at the end of it also."Chitrasen who came inside laughed heartily and patted Arjun's back. ' See the benefit of being Indra's son. Within a short while Curse turned into a boon." Arjun sighed with relief and closed his eyes to feel his wife who is smiling happily in his vision as he stood by his word. He told his wife happily.' You know my queen,finally I conquered my senses and temptations. You can not tease me now that I will break my promise as soon as I crossed the borders. Now you are my only temptation. "

It is not just Pasupat,that Arjun learnt from Siva. The three eyed Lord gave him Sthurna Karnastr to which Shanku Karna,a form of Siva is the presiding deity. Siva gave him Sarvarshastr,the legacy of him ,that established him as the storm God in Rigveda.He taught him Ashmavasastr that showers millions of rocks and boulders on enemy side. He gave him shalabhastr that converts into thousands and lakhs of arrows. And then Arjun got Raudrastr from Mahadev that is different from Pasupat. There are five vidhis in Dhanurveda. First three are known to every one,Arjun learnt them from Drona. The last two vidhis he learnt from Siva. Only Mahadev knows them. To elaborate the first Vidhi is Prayoga,that means releasing an Astra. The second one is upasamhara,returning the Astra.Not every one can accomplish this feat unless they do penance and it was proved when Aswathama failed to take back Brahmasira but Arjun did it with ease.The third Vidhi is Avarti,distress prevention.Arjun never used this. The fourth one is Prayaschitta,If an innocent person is killed by fault,he can be brought back to life. Siva taught this to Arjun. The fifth Vidhi is Pratighat,consuming the power of the Astra of the rival and turning it back on him. Siva taught this to Arjun. Apart from this he got every Astra that existed with gods in heaven.Indra made him practice all this treasure of Dhanurveda under the watch full eyes of gods of quarters. Finally Indra came to conclusion that none in this creation can defeat Arjun in battle. He blessed him and asked with a smile.' Will you do a favour to me my son? You have to conquer Kalakeyas Nivata Kavachas who are troubling us with their misdeeds.They are three crore in number,Go and destroy them.That is the guru Dakshina I want from you." Arjun felt happy as he can do a favour to gods. He ascended the chariot of Indra driven by Matali,Indra's charioteer.The demons live under the ocean in a beautiful golden city.Arjun stopped at the entrance and blew his conch,the Devadutt.The notes of Devadutta created fear in the minds of the demons. They ferociously attacked Arjun who is without any army support.Arjun chopped them into pieces with his thousands of arrows shot within a minute. They got angry and attacked him with stones and arrows.Matali became unconscious due to the severe onslaught by them. Arjun himself drove his chariot and placing it safe he showered devastating arrows on his rivals.The demons then made rain shower on Arjun by using the Astra of Varun. Arjun shot Soshanastr on that rain shower and dried up the rain completely.Matali got back his consciousness and hailed Arjun's valour.Then the demons showered rain of boulders which was made useless by Arjun with Vajrastr.Then the demons created darkness every where with their power of illusion.Matali was overcome by fear as he could not see Arjun.He shouted.' Son of Indra,Where are you? " Arjun assured him .' I will destroy this darkness Don't worry." He shot Suryastr and removed the darkness.Arjun finally unleashed Vajrastr and killed Nivata Kavachas along with all their associates.The gods showered flowers on Arjun for his extraordinary feat. On his way back Arjun attacked Hiranyapur the abode of sixty thousand Kalkeya demons.The demons flew into the sky along with their chariots . Arjun brought them down with his shafts and after breaking their illusion killed them completely.Indra presented him a crown made with unique jewels. He placed it on his head and hugged him with affection. You will be called ' KIRITI" from now onwards.He proudly declared...Prabhas Tirth gave Panchali the relief she desparately waiting for. Her Sakha Govind came with Satyaki to meet them when he got message of their arrival. Panchali sent a message not to bring Subhadra or Abhi as they will be shattered to see them in the robes of ascetics. Abhi could never tolerate to see his Jyesht mata's plight. But her dear friend Satya came and with tears hugged her close and wept. Krishna pulled her back and pacified her. ' Satya don't demoralise my Sakhi. She has the grit and determination to fight the odds. And Krishnaa why are you looking so indisposed? Are you eating food or not? I hope Bheemsen is not consuming every food particle created in Akshaya Patra." Bheem laughed and then becoming serious informed Krishna. ' your Sakhi is stubborn,Kanha. Ever since Arjun went she is eating only once a day. She is doing Katyayani vrath and rigorously following strict rules. I tried to change her mind but of no use. Please tell her to take care of herself. She is not in a state to travel all around. See her feet ruptured and swollen." Bheem had moisture in his eyes. He went out to control himself leaving them alone. Satya fired at Draupadi.' Why are you doing all this for such a person who cared the least about you? He doesn't love you at all. That is why he didn't prevent the Dice game. Now he is enjoying heavenly pleasures." Krishna placed his hand on Satya's shoulder.' You know what he is doing right now? After rigorous penance he got training in heaven continuously. Just now he conquered Three crores of Nivata Kavachas and their followers and sixty thousand Kalakeyas single handedly. Is this the enjoyment you mean? Satya,Parth became a pawn in the game of fate. He is desparately trying to become worthy enough to avenge Krishnaa's insult. Don't ever doubt his love for her. He never slept peacefully atleast for a while in heaven. Forgive him Satya, Enough of your blame." Satya widened her eyes.' Woh. What a feat? How could he achieved it single handedly? ...No no I am not supposed to praise him. I hate him Panchali." Satya said with a smile. Krishna and Draupadi laughed at her heartfully. As Satya went to greet Eldest,Panchali asked Krishna in a broken voice. ' How is he? Is he well after such severe battle? Who will help him relax?" She said worriedly. Krishna smiled and teased her. ' All the heavenly beauties are attending on him but he is chanting the name of a certain Fire born." Draupadi pouted and Her Govind affectionately placed his hand on her head.' He is fine. Don't worry. He will come back to you pure and Pious. He will not break his promise this time."

Along with Romasa,the sage finally Pandavas and Draupadi reached Gandhamadhan where the river Ganga flows in seven parts. There is Mandara girl where Yakshas,Vidyadharas and other gods live. The Kailash is six hundred yards away from the mountain .Romash showed them sacred places and said.' From here only Arjun went to heaven ascending the chariot of Indra,driven by Matali. The brothers wondered at the good fortune of Arjun who had such easy access to heaven.Nakul said.' Bhrata Bheem.whatever it is he is fortunate. He must be enjoying the company of Rambha,Urvasi,Menaka.." Bheem shouted.' Bas. Bas. Don't go beyond that. Always think of those things only. Panchali looked at the place marked by Romash. She walked there and stood feeling his presence there.' It had been four years and six months since you left Arjun! Govind said that you fulfilled every purpose . Why are you delaying still? Are you not feeling your Krishnaa's absence? Enough Arjun,I can't survive more. Come back to me." Just then fierce winds blew over,making them lost their balance and Bheem immediately reached Draupadi to support her.mThe tornado like winds separated the brothers,Draupadi and Sage Romasa by blowing them into different directions . Bheem held Draupadi and understood she became unconscious. After the winds calmed down,they gathered round her and looked into her faces sadly feeling guilty for causing her such trouble. Sage Romash sprinkled the water from his Kamandalu and Yudhishtir blamed himself.' All this happened because of me. Daughter of Drupad is facing unheard of ordeals due to me. Bheem! We have to reach the peaks where Nara Narayanasram existed in Badari van.As per the message we received,Arjun will meet us there. I will go with Nakul and wait for Arjun. You with Sahadev and Draupadi wait at this place. She can not climb up the steep hill." Bheem nodded his head. ' I am sure she won't agree. We also can't leave you at this stage. Panchali's condition is pitiful. She still is advancing only with the hope of meeting Arjun. I wonder why our brother,in whom we restored all our hoped did not come yet." Draupadi got back her consciousness and emphasised.' I won't stay here. I will travel there even if I have to face danger to my life.Let my whole body collapse,my soul will reach there. " So saying she stood up and proceeded with great difficulty. Bheem immediately chanted his son's name.' Ghatotkach,my son. I need your help. Come here at once." Then to their surprise they saw the son of Hidimba in his huge form before them.Bheem embraced him and ordered him. ' carry your Mata and Others on to the top of the mountain. I can come by myself. " Ghatotkach smiled with naughty ness and placed his father also on his shoulder. He delicately handled Draupadi who smiled with motherly affection. Pandavas visited Mainaka peak,which is covered with gold and Bindusaras Where Mahadev released Ganga waters first time. Then they reached Badarikasram,the hermitage of Nar and Narayan. They want to spend there till Arjun comes. Ghatotkach assured them that he will always respond to their call and help them in need.The beauty of Badarika van mesmerised Panchali. The soothing breezes, the colour ful flowers the pure Ganga waters removed her fatigue and depression.She thought she got the message from her husband that he is descending there into her arms rekindling the love and passion they had for each other.She roamed around under the protection of Bheema her beautiful face lightened up by his memories and blooming like Brahma Kamalas,the lotuses which will blossom on Himalayas that too only once in an year on Sravana Suddha Tadiya,that coincides with the Amarnath Shiv ling coming out of snow for the first time.Panchali placed her feet in chilled water despite Bheem's warning and closed her eyes...It was a cloudy day in Indraprasth with cool winds indicating the rain that may shower any time. Panchali stood in her balcony waiting for Arjun who is too busy that day attending some important meetings at the Military camp on the outskirts of Indraprasth. He won't change. He will forget every thing when he is with his troops.Just seven days back Panchali reconciled with him forgiving him for bringing Subhadra and also for his other marriages.Both of them are immensely passionate about each other and are enjoying the conjugal bliss.Right then an important military reshuffle is planned by him and he went there to handle the matters. Panchali felt cold as the drizzle that just started sprinkled water drops all over her face. She went back two steps without turning back but was enveloped in her husband's arms his loving whisper making her drool over him.' Let us enjoy the rain together." ...' Panchali it is turning dark. Let us go to the hermitage. Bheem's voice brought yajnaseni out of her trance and out of her beautiful moments spent with him.
