Tere bina and maula maula are decent. But I think O yara is the best in terms of variation and instrumental brilliance.
Ballay ballay is like the perfect sangeet song.
I didnt like Mahi Mahi at all. The music doesnt suit the lyrics one bit. The instruments they've used along with auto-tuning gives it a peppy feel. Reminds me of the remix phase of our singers during the early 2000s.
It didnt suit this kind of lyrics.Damn,what a shame. Rekha Bharadwaj brings great texture into her songs. They should have gone more classical for this song. Sitar and tabla would have been magic here.
