But seriously, I kinda think it's okay for him to do films because it gives opportunities for other actors to step up and do good work, currently I'm loving Zahid especially in Mehram and now recently Alvida. I like Mikaal as well, but I can only watch HUM TV because ARY-Geo are pay per view and I find it pointless paying every month. But yeah I've seen bits of Adeel Hussain and stuff, hopefully experiment more dramas. Still working on the list.

^Not only men Hina but women also. When kankar was being aired you should have read comments on Umera's fb page. There were ladies who were saying that she is promoting divorce through this drama... and those women said that Sikandar should have been forgiven.

Kiran was also no less...she cud hv gone to her sisters dawat all by herself that night...wives who stay home all day don't understand how hard men work outside the whole day and when they come back the wife shudnt pounce on him to take her out again whereas he jus came from outside from work n when he says I m tired he wife starts taunting him ...kiran was so irritating sometimes geez...no wonder sikandar used to get mad...such wives who live like princess's the way sikandar kept kiran shud go out and do a job...then they will understand how hard is it to earn money n then they also won't hv energy to taunt their hubbies to take them out the moment the hubby set foot at home

It's not abt promoting divorce ...its abt showing divorce when justified...since divorce is considered a taboo the writers shud show a way how the wife can fight back in the domestic violence issue without breaking her home...coz that's the situation everyone wants...how we don't hv to divorce but won't hv to tolerate violence too...I agree sikandar deserved the slap he got but that cud hv been shown without the divorce too that how kiran fought no to retain her honor in her in laws...in digest writer umera showed how farida stayed with the shitty in laws and compromising whereas her condition was thousand times worse than kirans in kankar and shaukat is a dog in front of sikandar ...umera shud hv shown divorce in digest writer instead which wud hv been justified as shaukat never loved farida and was jus a parasite whereas sikandar used to love kiran to death...he kept her like a princess...only problem was the hitting part which kiran cud hv solved by taking a stand for herself in a different way...not divorce ...

Show divorce when it no longer can b tolerated the way it was for farida in digest

Now I guess umera didn't show divorce in digest for the backlash in kankar ...but she shud hv understood that even Islam supports divorce when needed but before that the partners shud hv done every thing possible to save it but kiran in kankar was so adamant n she also was not a sati savior I biwi n gave sikandar a tough time too ...but sikandar used to tolerate that

She gave him chances but no mother can forgive the murderer of her own baby! How can anyone even justify something like this.

In other shows they show the hubby to b drunkard womanizer gambler n still the wife trying to correct him n bring him the right way sacrificing her life

So kiran cud hv solved it without taking divorce as divorce is the solution to marital problems in Asian sub continent but compromise n tolerance is not the solution too...the solution is fighting it out and make way for urself among ur in laws...if they don't value the wife mk them value the wife teach them a lesson without getting divorced ...sikandar did deserve a test of his own medicine but he didn't deserve the divorce as he truly loved kiran ...kiran shud hv been shown to help him with anger issues n if needed be harsh on him but not take divorce at the drop of a hat coz wives in Asian subcontinent endure way way more humiliation torture n mental stress n still live with the in laws ...compared to that misery kiran was literally in heaven with sikandar

How come Farida's condition was worse than Kiran?and Digest Writer is not Umera's script. Are you siding with Sikandar because he was not shitty faced but according to you Shaukat was so Farida should have taken divorce but kiran shouldn't have. In my opinion Farida should have also taken divorce.
