CHAPTER 3
Birds were chirping outside
A beautiful sunny morning
Zain woke from his deep slumber and looked here and there
Zain: yeh mamu ki bhanji kahan gayi.. meri gree tea kahan hai.. i have to go for swimming
He got up and moved towards washroom
Seeing the condition of room soon the realisation hit him and he remembered what happened yesterday
Hot tears made there way.. this time no one by his side to stop them
His love... his dad.. no one was there
Slowly he went inside washroom and splashed cool water on him to calm down himself
He looked at mirror
His eyes bloodshot might be because of excess crying all the night
His face pale . his unshaven face and his hair shabby
Zain: yeh hamesha mere saath hi kyun hota hai.. kash maine uss din use nikkah nahi kiya hota.. aaj mere pass dad hote.. meri life hoti..
He looked at the beautiful vase which aliya brought for washroom
He hold them and threw it on the mirror breaking it into uncountable pieces just like his heart condition was right now
Suddenly his phone rang
Kartar was calling him
Zain picked up the phone
Zain: haan kartar bol
Kartar: woh zain main city hospital aaya hoon
Zain: haan toh main kya karoon
Kartar: woh zain aliya bhabhi
Zain: khabardar joh tune uski baat kit oh.. ab woh tumhari bhabhi nahi rahi
Saying this he disconnected the call
Kartar ( on the other side ) ab main iss zain ko kaise batao .. aliya bhabhi yahan admit hai.
Zain came out of the washroom after a cool shower ... all ready to start a new life without 2 people who used to hold most important place in his life one his dad and second his dear wife
Zain: mamu ki bhanji mere kapde kahan hain
Zain: yeh kya horaha hai mujhe.. woh chali gayi hia meri life se.. she is no more connected to my life any more.. yeh aliya nahi hai toh iska matlab yeh nahi k ii cannot live without her anymore .. i can.. better than when she was with me
He went to cupboard and picked out his outfits
He went down and picking up the newspaper he went back
As he was going up he heard someone whispering
There was no one in the house except him as everybody went to mosque to pray for osman
He slowly head towards the source of voice
Slowly he hide himself behind the door to listen what the person was talking
" haan maine maara dad ko.. toh main kya karti.. uss suraiya ne meri zindagi tabah kar di.. meri jagah uss shazia ko leke aayi.. mere fahad ki doosri shadi karvayi.. maine hi woh cylinder blast karvaya par woh aliya aagayi aur suraiya bach gayi.. ussne meri zindagi hell bana di.. i created misunderstanding between aliya and suraiya.. i am the one"
The lady laughed wickedly
Zain's blood boiled in anger
He was hating himself more
He forget how much aliya used to love her mamu.. he blamed innocent soul for all this
The already broken pieces broke more
Each and every word of that lady weighted tons and it seemed he was burying under the weight
Zain slowly entered inside the room to face that lady who spoiled his whole life.. who was responsible for such a turmoil in his peaceful life
Holding the lady's hand tightly he turned her around with his full force
Zain: nafeesa bhabhi aap
Nafeesa was speechless what to say and what not to
She knew that now zain know all the truth and her lies will not work anymore
And before she could speak one more word in her defence a tight slap touched her face
Zain slapped his miss.universe
She was standing with tears in her eyes and her face showing shock
Nafeesa: zainn
She said with shiver in her voice
Zain: khabardar joh mera naam liya apni zubaan se
Nafeesa: par zain
Zain: shhh.. apki wajah se maine apna sab kuch kodiya..
Nafeesa fell down on his feet and her eyes depicting guilty of what she had done
Nafeesa: zain mujhe maaf kar do.. maine yeh sab kiya main maanti hoon par mera koi intention nahi tha dad ko marne ka and na hi tumhe and aliya ko alag karna chahti thi
Zain: apki iss gandi zubaan se aliya ka pak naam mat lena
Suddenly he remembered kartar's call about aliya
He quickly dialled his number
"the number you are trying to call is currently out of reach.. please call again later"
Said the operator on the other side
