The makers of Bindass' Yeh Hai Aashiqui have taken inspiration from a real life love story and decided to bring it to reel life. They have chosen one of television's most beloved couple, Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi. The two met on the sets of their hit show, Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta, where they were paired opposite one another. Rithvik and Asha's characters, Arjun and Purvi, respectively became one of the hottest on screen pairs with a tremendously large fan following. This is the first fictional show Asha and Rithvik will be doing together since Pavitra Rishta ended.

Now fans will get to witness how they met, became friends and eventually became more than friends in an episodic of Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
