CHAPTER 7
PART A
She took hold of the tired swing's long rope,twisting it round and round till the poor weathered tether was taut with tensin,the blinds creaking with pleas for relief. Not until she sat on the dried out grey seat,the wood complaining rather noisily under her weight and had the frayed cord secure between her legs,did she finally relax all the strain she had caused to the worn out swing.
She closed her eyes,enjoying the most floating sensation ,as the world blended together and spun round faster and fatser.
The morning wasn't grey but soothing lavender and brilliant amber. The colors merged inot neon pink and peach. She woke up early evey morning and oday was no exception,except the fact that she had barely slept the previous night..
Sleep had turned into a futile tussle with her thoughts..
Aaliya wondered how she would break the new to Zain,he had seemed happy during their small trip to the different tourists sensations of Matheran and just like all the other times she had stepped back for expressing her decision,she had done it once again yesterday..
Being with him had made her happy too..Zain Abdullah had made her happy as much as he had made her cry ,and yesterday was no exception to it..he made happiness seem infectious. It started as a tingle in her fingers and toes, much like the feeling she had when she was anxious, but instead of worrisome it was warm. Aaliya could feel it pass through her like a warm ocean wave washing away the stress of all her apprehensions and doubts of what the future had in store for her..
And as the wave faded away she savoured the memory of its gentle touch. The feeling was a blissful evocation of a time spend with Zain...
She turned to look back,still seated on the worn out swing, when she heard the glass door leading to the porch slide smooth over the channel.
He was standing there, leaning against the frame, his grey flannel pants hanging suggestively from his hips, with his chest bare and soft skin glistening under the first rays of the sun. She had for a long time, longed to be in those strong arms which were now folded over his chest. She had longed to run her fingers over the tautness of his abs press her face up against his chest and hear his heart thump against his skin. His hair was unkempt and tousled, the golden rays making the tips of the brown wisps seem golden , while his beautiful face was hidden beneath a layer of a day long stubble. Aaliya wondered how it would feel against the soft caress of her fingers or whether they would send tingles down her bare back to the core of her body,if he rubbed his cheek against the softness of her skin..or maybe even in those secret places of her body...
He was smiling at her..he was happy. Aaliya wanted to mark every single moment to her memory,because she could be a part of only so many, as he slowly stepped off the porch and into the shaggy grass,that was wet from the morning rain,his eyes not once leaving hers,she got up from the swing..letting go of the frayed cords..
He was standing too close for her comfort..she was so scared that she might turn into a pudlle..she had been able to resist The Zain Abdullah charm which made girls swoon before him..she was not going t buckle down now..but she wished he could know what his intense gaze did to her insides..but then it was wishful thinking..it was something which that would never transpire between them..

She looked up at him..relieved that he had not caught her ogling at him..His smile could make someone forget what that person was thinking..his brown orbs held a glimmer of something,she quite didn't wish to comprehend. He looked happy..which meant she would have to hold on to her secret, for a little longer than she had wished too...
