Diya Aur Baati Hum Written Update 19th January 2015

Sandhya is looking at the family photo.  Chavvi writes on a paper all her kaands about showing her mother-in-law bad in front of others and Dileep and selling jewels to get her own flat.  Meenakshi who is acting as baba puts another chit in havan kund and retains Chavvi's original chit.  She later reads it and shocked and thinks of showing it to Bhabho.

Bhabho and Chotu on their way back home.  Bhabho is holding her flank in severe pain while walking slowly.  Chotu complains to her not having stopped Sandhya as she would listen to Bhabho.  Bhabho agrees to it but tells she is helpless and falls down in pain.  Chotu panics and people gather there.  Chotu calls Suraj and informs him about this.

All are in the hospital.  Suraj asks the doctor about Bhabho's health.  Doctor says they are waiting for some reports to come and then only he can tell anything.  Just then reports come.  Doctor is disappointed seeing the reports and says what they feared has come true.  Bhabho's other kidney is also not functioning and she needs kidney transplant.  All are shocked.  Suraj offers to donate kidney and Chotu also offers to.  Doctor tells them the age limit is above 18 and under 55 and suggests others to get blood and other tests before deciding for donation.  Chavvi is crying and Meena is displeased as Chavvi is saved again and she cannot reveal her kaands to Bhabho at this situation.

Chotu thinks of something and goes to Sandhya's house and informs Ankur and Ankitha about it and says he wants to talk to Sandhya urgently.  Ankur pacifies him that he will pass on the message to Sandhya when she comes back home and sends Chotu back.  He immediately calls security and orders him to not let Chotu or anyone from Rathi family in.  Ankita feels bad and Ankur justifies he is doing it for Sandhya's wellness and gives his promise to not tell anything to Sandhya as she will be leaving soon for Scotland.  Chotu sees Sandhya standing at the window and tries to call her but security sends him off.

At hospital, all the tests of Rathi members are out and no one's blood group or kidney matches Bhabho's and doctor suggests them to register in kidney bank and wait for donor and meanwhile Bhabho will be kept on dialysis.  An attendant in the hospital meets Suraj, Vikram and Meena and speaks to them.  He asks them to arrange 10 lakhs and he will find a suitable donor for them with all the legalities fulfilled.  Suraj agrees to arrange for money.  Suraj then asks Vikram and Meena to go home and he will be with Bhabho.  Meena is worried about how they are going to arrange 10 lakhs and expresses it to Vikram.

Chotu coming back from Sandhya's house disappointed.  He then decides to call Sandhya and inform her.  He calls and someone picks it.  Chotu thinks it is Sandhya and informs her about Bhabho's health being critical, being admitted in hospital and needing kidney transplant.  He asks her to come to the hospital immediately.  It is Ankita listening to it and Ankur snatches the phone from her.  He warns Chotu to not call again and also meddles with the phone.  He says to Ankita that he is doing it for Sandhya and he won't allow Sandhya to sacrifice anymore for the Rathi family.  He wishes her to get her Scotland Yard training and she needs a change.  Just then Sandhya comes there and asks what change they were talking about.

Precap:  Sandhya in burka in hanuman galli.  Looks like Suraj stumbles and drops something on ground and Sandhya helps him.
