Manas decides to file a pubic interest litigation case for the exploitation of women in the jail and goes to court. The Jailor and Doctor threaten Urmila in jail and try to beat her but she manages to stop them. Shanker is beaten up badly for letting out secrets of the jail. Urmila conveys all this to Manas when he comes to see her. The jailor and doctor go to an advocate, Ria Sen and ask her to take up their case. She is confident that the opponents were fighting a lost battle. Abhi and Simran decide to go for the first hearing of the case. Neha asks Abhi not to get further involved. However, he says that if she had such a problem with Simran why did she marry him at all. Neha is shocked.
