Khushboo wala Gulabi letter πŸ˜³πŸ˜†
Naima is such a nut case πŸ˜†
UFFF the love letter did not disappoint me ...Imran, Imu ya Imi 🀣

Agar tum taish main aakar, mera khat phad bhi dalo
kadam to choom hee lenge meri tehreer ke tukray.πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
LOl height was... bister ki salwato se aapka naam likhti hoon πŸ˜†

My Gulabi thoughts...Seemingly simple story has been presented in a straightforward way and what more could I have asked for? A beautiful exploitation of insanity of frustrated man and a shattered yet strong solo woman and her daughter. My response as a viewer has been - to pity, to relate, to vibrate in unison ...Plain Bliss .
I just love how the story juxtaposes the fantastic with the mundane😳
FantasticoπŸ₯³ Najjo becoming normal and Imran feeling better about it ...the ice cream break after the wonderful game was so beautifully done.❀️
But Dah next moment we have the silliest Naima who entertains us πŸ˜›πŸ˜†
But the way irrelevant, becomes significant and most importantly touches reality with society's stringent world represented by Yunus Mia is awesomely done and that keeps you on the edge. You daughter wins, you order sweets and Nijjo wins, nothing ...but I love my brother's kid jaab continues Double standards of Yunus😑

By arbitrarily shifting between seemingly beautiful Imran, Najjo, Mariyam story to Jamal, Bilkes and his old mom n Badi dulhan, Niama and her mom this juxtaposition dramatizes the contradictions that define writers vision of reality. Yunus & Suleman Baig are the vision of right and wrong. the way they portray everything without being preachy is what has touched me the most. The way the narratives from one thematic plane to another is exploited to create a natural tension is awesomely done and sure creates a gravitational effect.

The stars in the heavens always sing a music so we should keep our ears open ❀️

You have summed up the show, the writers and the directors perspective , as we can understand, so beautifully.

Indeed, there is hardly any other show, which I have enjoyed the entire length of it, so thoroughly.

Some thing that touches the very core of the heart, inspite of its much predictable, plain story line.

Each and every dialogue, be it from a comedian, a side character or a lead character, nothing is out of place / context.

Extremely measured and wholesome at the same time.

Be it a stern one from Younis, a loud anger filled rebuke from Imraan, innocent as well as high handed ones of Najma, cajoling one from Maamu , a compassionate one from Mariyam, a sensible one from Daada Jaan, a taunt from Nasima, a silly one from Naeema, an exasperated one from Saba, a naughty one from Fiza, , adorable confused ones of Waqar... And the trade mark ones of Rehmat khaala !...if you have a will to ' listen ' to them, each of them say a lot about the sincerity that is put in the show., and the unseen depth the show carries.

You are right, none is preachy, yet they all drive the point home.

A beautiful universe created within a small mohalla, between two windows and terraces facing each other ⭐️

Each and every character, consistent and true to their nature, through out the length and breadth of the show., and it is the third dimension which is their respective behaviours tthat just goes straight to your heart ❀️

----------------

The awesomest dialogue of the last episode...

Imraan to Najma...

Najma, aap abhi bilkul nahi darengi...
Imraan itni bar doob chuka hai, woh tairnaa seekh gayaa..
Abhi us ki Mehek ko doobne nahi degaa...
Yeh hamara vada hai aapse...

In those few words, the story of Imraan has traced a full circle, his inability to save his daughter becoz he could not swim thru the water, is no more a hurdle...he indeed had learnt to swim now, against the tide for another Mehek he found in his life. No matter what, he will be always there to protect her, guide her, teach her, and love her as his own daughter.

❀️

And for the good heart that he has, and the gem of a person that he is, he deserves one another precious gift in the form of a life partner in Mariyam, a right thermostat to control his occasional temperature variations. 😳

And with Imraan as a life partner to Mariyam and a father to Najjo , it's a win win all the way ⭐️

Great posts in this thread!πŸ‘
I wish the Channel appreciated this serial's subtlety and its delicate attention to the small details of life.

Incidentally, the actor who plays Naima? Hats off, I mean totally, hats off. Such a natural, and she manages to make us like as well as forgive this crazy flibbertigibbet who doesn't know what she wants.

Yes, indeed...the actor playing Najma is a power house of talent for her age πŸ‘
Iam not an avid serial / soap watcher. There is only one show which could keep my interest alive in the show for the last six years...other than that, if I sit to watch any new show, I cannot go beyond a couple of episodes...there is hardly any show these days, which is able to cater to MY sensibilities.

And especially when it comes to child actors, with all due respect to their talents, the manner in which they are portrayed, is a major put off for me. They are most generally robbed of their innocence of a child and made to act adult emotions , recite lines, which are more fit for an adult.

But this show, even on that aspect, is totally different

Yes, many may feel that high handedness of Najma, is done a OTT way, but then, we also have to notice that , that characteristic comes forth in her ONLY wrt her Naye Padosi and with default his Maamu Jaan πŸ˜†

If Najma, had not been so brattish, crazy, ever with her snide remarks towards, Imraan, he would have never come out of the cocoon he built around himself with drinking.

A well behaved, disciplined, Najma, who is all of Tehjeeb could have never made an impact on Imraan, would have just gone plainly un noticed.
And then, where could we have had all those cute moments of nok jhok πŸ˜†

Najma, in all other instances, is an adorable child - a caring daughter to her mother, a loving grand daughter to her Daadajaan, ever respecting and obeying niece to Younis...with all her child like innocence intact.

But with Imraan, guess the Haq jatana part of it comes very naturally to her 😳 πŸ˜†

And the uniqueness of this show, is inspite of all of it, nothing puts you off when it comes to both their interactions. You will want to watch more and more of them 😳

As they say, that, only a diamond can cut a diamond...so is the case of Imraan - Najma. Imraan s heart that was hardened akin to a rock, could only have melted by diamond edged remarks of Najma.

And there is no doubt, each and every one of those lines, still have a sweet, undefinable love and emotions laced on them, which began to slowly touch, relate and move Imraan, till she became an indispensable part of his life , instilled in him a will to live, and made him love life once again ⭐️

Hats off to both the actors, the writer and the director - to bring before us the subtlety of all those emotions, and made us enjoy each and every moment of the duo πŸ‘

Truly said Adi it was Najma's innocence, her concern, her passion that melted Imran's heart and gave him a new reason to live life.
The constant rebukes from her,her attitude, her passion made him situp and take notice of her.She invariably became a part of his life. She became his lifeline his world
From point where he says not to ask Allah for such blessings when mamu says God has created a bond between u and Najma to a point where he has sleepless nights along with her for her and fears losing her -his life had found a new meaning,-He had found his lost Mehak.

And the best part of the show and the USP of the show had always been the conversation between Najma and Imran. You always wanted more of them.Their fights had that hidden love. And as said that innocent love of Najma was what changed Imran😳😳

REALLY HATS OFF TO THE WRITERS, HASAN AND ASHNOOR for making us feel and enjoy each and every emotion of the duo. They really filled our hearts with happiness and bought a smile on our face.πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Adi, you're right absolutely - Ashnoor is an actor of the highest calibre and we have always praised her in all her roles - in terms of experience, that child is a veteran! 😊

But in this case I meant the actor who plays Naeema πŸ˜ƒ - she brings the daft character alive with all its flaws, foibles and charm! I don't know her name.

Oh yeah...absolutely agree with you.

She brings out the silliness with elan...that is not at all a put off...as we feel for other such silly girls in every other show in general πŸ˜†

You can only wholeheartedly laugh at her, at her antics, w/o any sort of cringing.

In actual, even the girl playing Sabah too is a natural.

Such an apt acting for the role...you can easily relate with any middle class girl next door with such dreams and aspirations. No OTT act from any angle πŸ‘

Seriously, the ENTIRE cast , that way deserves the applaud.

Their dialogues are relate able, their behaviours are relate able...one major USP of the show.

Even Younis, how much ever you want to hate him, you just cannot ! Besides giving out superb performance as an actor, even the character touches a chord with you at times...⭐️

The writer and director deserve a great big applause in giving us each of there characters, with utmost sincerity and honesty.

This is surely a show with a "Soul " - IMO. ⭐️
