oh for sure...a woman has a right to divorce just like a man...she can remarry after divorce and if she is a widow, she has a say in whom she marries, she cannot be forced, that is why she is asked 3 times at nikah...she has a share in inheritance and she has a right to education...she gets a dowry from her husband after nikah which is just hers, she can spend it like she wants, no questions asked...these rights were given to women 1500 years ago...yet our culture is going backwards😭.Originally posted by: ABBY_JERAN

and one more thing I would like to clear which you must have seen multiple times on Tv is that husband saying talaq 3 times in anger is not talaaq...the man has to say talaaq 3 times for them to be divorced but at 3 different times. God gives the man the right to rethink his decision...so this 3 talaaq at once in the heat of the moment is also ridiculous and its is so common in Pakistan that it makes my head spin.🤢
