But the only reason which made me tune to the show was THE PERFORMANCES
AHSAN was jus too good as Omar
He owned the character...he underplayed when it was needed...was a bit loud when needed...his scenes with saman Zee qasim uncle rukhI all were so different yet IMPACTFUL n he again proved he is such a natural actor

Next I shud say nausheen Shah was OUTSTANDING as Zee

I cud neither hate her not sympathize with her

But she wasn't intolerable

I liked the dialogues given to her

There was no evil character in this show which is a plus point

I wish they showed a bit of humayun ashraf aka shamans bro Raja in this Epi...I LUVED his phone convos with saman

They shudnt hv shown Zee dying ...I didn't like that part

Agree she was an addict but not to that level either

and the ENDING WAS REALLY UNEXPECTED

I was hoping they will show Zee leaving finally n saman finally will get over her zidd and confess to Omar that she loves him

But the writer kept it real...she showed such people don't change...yes both saman n Zee loved Omar but both were too stubborn n proud to admit it ...and when they did it was too late for both of them n Omar was over them...this show also showed don't take everything for granted...both saman . N Zee took Omar for granted n never valued him n hence the ENDING

Now that I m thinking by abt the show...I must say it was a very nice show...showed different types of complications which I rarely see in recent shows...I m so thankful to hum tv for casting Maya AHSAN and nausheen

I jus found out .
.
the writer of the show is BE GUL

now it makes sense

She always portrays women in her shows in a different never seen before way

First it was talkhiyan which was very beautiful n different showing several shades of woemen in a women's hostel

Then I saw her work in pehchaan which was again a classic

Then she wrote most of the epis of hum tv's telefilm kitni girhain baaki HAIN

And now zidd

She doesn't hv much work

But whatever I hv seen is very different n shows different types of women's emotions

Hats off to her

I really wish she writes more

I was expecting this only. Bee Gul dramas do not have conventional ending.

Saman deserved this sort of end. But I feel sorry for Omar, he didnt deserve this kind of end. Wish they had showed something that he has temporrary found contentment in something else in life, doesnt necassary have to be another woman. I am sure a man like Omar; good looking, educated, rich, ideal life partner qualities which any sane woman would recognize immidiately can easily find another woman.
Its Saman whose life is totally jinxed.Even if she does somehow not entirely come down to zhees level but still she will never find another omar

All in all bee guls attempt at giving a powerful message failed because of the awful presentation. This drama should have had a gheesa pita ending, with Samann coming to her senses after learning lessons from zhee and rukhi/qasim case and living a happy life with omar.

Acting wise Nausheen and Ahsan were good. Rababs comeback not too bad. But I never want to see Maya with Ahsan again.

WOW I kinda liked the end, except that i feel bad for Umer.
I was kinda expecting that a girl like Saman did deserve this. And i think everybody can learn something from this drama. Dont be ziddi.
We all have that in us, and its kinda scary. The scariest thing about this drama is, that this is how most of the modern girls are these days, be it EUropean or Pakistani.

I have seen girls like her confused not knowing what they want and in the end wooops everything gone they might have thought was theirs.

I also don't want to see Maya with AHSAN again

They jus don't hv any chemistry

This is another reason I liked the ending coz I cud never ship them as a couple for zero chemistry

Even AHSAN nausheen had chemistry

Also in their other shows like khoya khoya chaand n meri jaan HAIN tu also I didn't like the PAIRING

Another pair I don't like with AHSAN is Sajjal ali

Umer didn't deserve it, but what i've always loved about pakistani shows is that even though these problems are not a part of your life it is still close to the reality. There were times i got annoyed, but when i thought about it this is what is happening everywhere in the world. Girls are specially confused, they want freedom, but there are other ways of gaining that than being Ziddi.
It is sooo scary that this drama is sooo close to reality, i have seen girls like saman, luckily not in my family.

I really didn't think that this show was a waste, i think ppl can learn something from it.

That's the main reason why I liked the show

Coz now a days specially the Asian subcontinent gals are so blinded by the word independent n they hv a bigger ego than the guys and like saman n Zee they r not even happy even after getting a perfect sasural n thinks the wedding is binding them...Coz in our society we hv this notion that gals can't do anything after wedding of their own will n such gals take this drawback too seriously n to break it they go far beyond to prove they r independent n apni maarzi ki mallik and hence lose everything

Gals of now a days shud b given proper mental set up fem early twenties how to live life on ur own terms but still maintain a healthy relationship with the life partner at the same time

Being independent doesn't mean u ignore ur life partner n pretend he doesn't exist n mk ur ego too big to let him know u luv him n need him
