Ragini from the flashback is clear was a chulbulli girl who was enjoying life until this ajnabee walked into her life, stole her heart and then broke it. To some extent her insecurities had a great part to play.

Should she remain the same, after that? If we think of it from a practical sense then its evident, when one is betrayed one will never live life the save again or perceive anything the same again. Ragini can be rude, but we have also seen her break in her bedroom all alone, so we know how hard it is for her to portray that tough exterior.

You mentioned that she always refer to the sacrifices she has made. What is wrong with that? Why shouldnt she? When her daughter felt it was ok to go behind her back and get the man who has destroyed her completely contact her to tell her she sucks as a mother? Would anyone sit back and take that? What is wrong with a mother wanting her daughter to become somebody in her life before she proceeds to potentially destroying her life by marrying so young? She tried to make them see sense and they didnt. When things dont go according to plan, it will fall ONLY on RAGINI to fix it and pick up the broken pieces, so she has every right to state what she feels.

She has not opened up about her real feelings for so many years because she wants the world to think she has the strength to face every obstacles it throws her way. But when she does break down in her room all alone, you can feel her every emotion.

I like the fact that she is not the type to bend down, like Neil said she is stubborn. Neil himself has changed so much, he believes charming young ladies outside is far better than sharing an emotional connection with his own children back home. But that is only because the pain he has gone through has made him this way.

All in all, no-one is truly to blame but the circumstances which in effect is emotionally destroying those children.
