Lift
Aaliya's POV
Luckily this time I am not alone with Zain. There's Sister Lovely with me too. Zain is standing right behind me and I can feel his towering presence. And because there is less space and more people, his body is pressing against mine which is sending goosebumps accross my body.
"So Sister Lovely, mei keh rhi thi ki-" I was cut off as I felt a push and I was about to fall on Zain when he pulled me up. I closed my eyes tightly still having the fear of falling. I heard Sister giggling. I suddenly straightened myself. [So Sister Lovely, I was saying that-]
"I am sorry." We both said together then smiled.
"It's okay." We both said together again.
Luckily again the lift door opened as I had reached the emergency ward. Zain went down again. When the realization hit me. The floor on which I fall on him, he had to get off on that floor. But because of me- God! Why do I waste every one's time?
Locker Room
Some hours later
Aaliya's POV
I walk into the locker room. Riddhima and Piya were sitting there looking at Piya's bangles. No, they weren't admiring it. They were checking as if there could be something bad inside. Or as if checking if it was made of real gold or not? As if that is possible. I mean to check! God, you.
"Hi guys!" I said as I walked up to my locker. They didn't look up. "HELLO GUYS!" I shouted again. They still didn't look up. I walked up to them and then shook Piya by her shoulders. She looked up.
"Oh hi Aaliya."
"Glad you noticed me!" I said giving a sarcastic smile. "Where are the boys?"
"Why? You're searching for somebody?" They both winked.
"No. Dr. Kirti is asking for them. I am least bothered." I said.
"Oh I see. Well there is some match. Zain's participating." Riddhima said.
"What kind of 'match'?" I asked trying to hide my concern.
"Oh a boxing match." My heart beat stopped. Why am I feeling so possesive about Zain suddenly? Why am I feeling so scared that something might hurt him? Or he may hurt himself? I keep my coat in the locker and walk out of the locker room. I didn't tell them where I was going. And honestly, I didn't knew myself.
Boxing Match
20 Minutes Later
I look around. Am I late? No. I saw Zain standing the boxing ring. I shouted "Zain!" But due to the noise and hustle and bustle, Zain couldn't hear me. I walked closer to the boxing ring. It was a break. I enter through the crowd.
"Zain-" I gasped for air.
"Aaliya..? What are you doing here?" He asked. God he is bleeding so badly. I cup his face into my hands and lightly kiss on his forehead. I was pretty sure he wasn't expecting it. But hey, I am full of surprises!
"Tum yaha kya kr rhe ho? Dekho kitna khoon beh rha hai. Pls chalo Zain." I said. I didn't even know when tears started pouring out of my eyes. [What are you doing here? Look how much blood is oozing out. Please let's leave Zain]
"Nahi Aaliya. Ab toh tum bhi yaha aa gyi ho. I can't- Ouuuccch!" He winced in pain as his neck was injured. I gasped again and cried even more. [No Aaliya. Now you are also here. I can't- Ouuuccchh!]
"Please chalo na Zain." The break was over. He kissed my cheek and smiled. Then sat up again. He looked back and winked at me and said 'I'll be okay'. I smiled through my tears. Then Zain turned angry and beated the hell out of the person. He beated him so much that he turned black and blue. [Please let's go Zain]
25 Minutes Later
Aaliya's Car
After the match I literally pulled Zain out of the place. Right now he was in the car with me. He really is hurt. While I was driving the car.
"Do you live alone, Zain?" I asked.
"Why are you asking me that?" He asked.
"Would you just tell me?" I said again.
"Yes. I live alone." He answered back.
"Okay. You're coming with me." I commanded.
"Wh- Why?" He asked confused. I didn't turn to look at his face.
"Because you live ALONE. And there is no one at your house to help you with these wounds. So don't be such a cry baby and come with me." I said.
