I also hated that! The Zain that not long ago stood up to Suri and told her how he will always be the only one that Aaliya loves..and now you are telling me that Zain needed to hear the proofs and all from a person he just met over the wife that he has been for over 6 months. I mean come on whether Zain trusts Rehan or not, he was always shown to trust Aaliya the most!! So this act to make Rehaan look good to us actually infuriated us because it was so illogical!Honestly if they never dragged this whole HN track this far and elongated as much as possible, Rehan could have taken a positive exist from the show, leaving the way he entered.However, with the dramatic drop of TRP, the Heads are reacting as rapidly as possible, but than again only if they had listened beforeBang On! My mom was upset about this too. She kept telling me that she would be happy if Rehaan marries Aaliya and not Bilal as Rehaan is a good man and he would divorce Aaliya right away. But nope again the makers have shown how they are so good at infuriating their viewers and losing them in the process.I dont blame NS for this since he clearly was promised a lead role however after ten months only Harshad aka Zain is going to be accepted as doing the heroic actions/deeds. I mean Rehan did save ZaYa numerous times but it made Zain look like outright brainless fool which was not being liked by majority of the fans.
I do not blame NS but I do blame the makers for actually promising someone I don't care who but anyone the role of a lead when you already have Harshad as Zain. I do not know they can be so stupid to think that us viewers would accept that. It's like they forgot who their audience are.If the Heads werent so stubborn and taking advantage of the fans, they would have understood this long ago and this sudden change of Rehan would have not taken place.EXACTLY! We fans are not so stupid that all we want is Zaya. We want a good story too but they refused to heed to our warnings and now they are scrambling like chickens to save their show. Rehan could definitely then leave the show in a graceful manner but nope be stubborn aur ab bhuk do.Being completely honest, I am actually enjoying the whole negative/grey or paradoxical side of Rehan as I am one of the fans who were rather incredibly irritated when Zain was constantly shown as statue, standing there just listening when he should have been the one figuring everything out. Go figure this was very much expected.Me too. The whole Mahaan act was too much. Like Zain was just there like a side character and Rehaan taking charge..that is unacceptable. This whole grey shade would have also been more accepted had it been shown earlier and not now all at once. They played around with Rehan's character for a while, to make us like him, come to admire him with Rehan being the saviour for ZaYa, a well wisher they could rely on. But that still can't break the fandom of ZaYa.As we all know, Farhan had the halala track planned for Day One, they just played around with us. How many would have stuck around if we knew this was coming? I know I wouldn't have. But it was easier as we took it one episode at a time.
