Superb post yet again Mandy...
You are right... The episode was not that fast paced or outstanding but it was a decent one... Besides the episode looked like a harbinger of good things to unfold in upcoming episodes... The actors those deserve special mention after the episode are :
Suchitra Pillai : Surraiya's U turn in her behavior towards Aaliya, although a little implausible, however, was a refreshing change to watch over her constant conniving and plotting against Aaliya... And Suchitra ma'm is such a versatile actor... She has finally realized that negativity just erode oneself from inside... I liked precap even better... Surraiya has finally resigned to the fact that Zain and Aaliya are meant to be inspite of all the obstacles and difficulties... And my that was a heartfelt resignation and not the one a person succumbs to due to helplessness..
Nandish Sandhu : I also have to applaud Nandish for portraying grayish Rehaan today... Loved the range of emotions his eyes depicted while keeping a straight countenance.. Who said being sinister means being sleazy??? One can be suave and still scary... That is what he portrayed perfectly in the episode...Applause for the actor... I, however, fervently wish that he doesn't turn completely negative though... I don't want Grumpy's faith in this son like son-in-law get tainted... Nandish also deserves a decent exit... But the precap is not giving me good vibes... He, it seems has asked Zain to come to some location if he wants to save Aaliya... On Monday, the article about Zain saving Aaliya from Rehaan and Shalam being slapped on face for their blind faith on Rehaan might come true..
Harshad Arora : The guy never fails to amaze me... It is now a registered fact that he is an actor par excellence. .. I could literally feel Zain's pain when Rehaan indicated that Aaliya can meet the same fate as Rida's as a payback... The tear that dropped from his eye (only one) was simply awesome...This is what sets him apart from other actors : subtle nuances he brings in his acting. Whether it was his pleading eyes while staying outside Aaliya's house for the whole night in rain and the quiver of his lips due to cold ; or his portrayal of a guy who was grief stricken to be away from his beloved but still relieved to know that she was not married but still lived with/in his memories after the revelation at Dargah... The guy who laughed and cried at the same time.. his flooding eyes amid tremulous laughter while bowing in front of divinity. Just some recent examples.. I have become a fan of his acting today -- once again..
I just wish Zain and Aaliya reunite soon, preferably before Diwali.. That would also be a Diwali bonus for us ardent viewers...
