Part 12
Sunlight streamed through the window and Bani opened her eyes. She recalled the events of last night and a smile spread across her face. She sat up and looked beside her to find Jai missing. She wondered where he was. But she jumped when she saw the time. It was almost 11 am. She rushed to the bathroom, took a shower and quickly dressed up. She wore a pink sari again, since Jai likes it and walked down the stairs. Everyone greeted her, but her eyes are only searching for one person. She kept looking around hoping to see jai, but no luck. Maasi watched her bahu as she seeked for her munna (jai told maasi that morning that he and bani made up. And the whole family hears as well except PIA) .
M with a smile: who r u looking for bani? Bani just blushed.
B: no one maasi.
M: O really? Everyone started to laugh and bani blushed even more.
M: okay fine. Munna had an important business meeting so he went to banglore. He will be back by evening. Bani was happy and mad. Why didn't jai wake her up or tell here where he was going? Bani tried really hard the whole day to divert her mind from Jai's thoughts, but her mind doesn't listen. She spent the whole day waiting for him but, he didn't come. It was 9 pm and he still didn't return. Bani grew worried by every passing moment.
M: bani beta, come and have dinner.
B: but maasi… mr.walia didn't come till now.
M: don't wry beta. He must be on his way. But bani's worry didn't stop. She got up to have dinner when the phone rang. She almost ran to pick the call. She eagerly picked up the phone. Slowy her face pales and she drops the phone. Maasi was worried to see Bani's state. BY now everyone came to the living room. Adi picks up the phone and even his face pales. He puts down the phone quietly.
M: what happened adi?
A: voh… maasi…
M: what happened?
A: the plane which jai was suppose to be returning had crashed. Everyone was shocked out of their wits. Bani slowly loses her balance and drops to the ground.
Everyone runs towards bani. They make her sit and tony comes with a glass of water. Bani is in a total state of shock. Tears stroll down her face. Everyone was trying to console her, but no avail. The whole night the walia family sat there trying to take in the big news, while adi was trying to find out what exactly happened. No matter what, bani's heart refused to believe the news. She just sat there not talking to anyone. Just tears were coming from her eyes. The next morning, some guy came and informed them that nobody survived. Actually, they still don't know who died. Therefore it is still not confirmed that jai died. There is a possibility that he didn't board the flight or something. we have to sort out the mess, he informed the whole family. Bani didn't eat anything the whole day. Maasi and others forced her to drink juice or something. Everyone was waiting for some kind of news about jai.

Part 13
Foot steps were heard and Bani looks up at once. Jai emerges from the hallway and Bani stands up at once. Her face holds dried tears as new ones make their way. Mr.Walia she wispers. Everyone in the living room except Bani run towards Jai, happy that nothing happened to him. They ask all sorts of questions wanting to know where he was for the past two days. Jai doesn't answer anyone as he keeps looking into bani's eyes, saying sorry he couldn't contact her. But bani just wipes away her tears and runs upstairs to her room.
Two minutes later Jai enters the room to find bani looking at the dark sky.
J: Bani… but she doesn't respond. Jai walks towards her.
J: Bani I am sry. My flight got cancelled for two days. So I was forced to stay there. I even tried calling home but there was thunderstorm and the signal wasn't reaching. I am so sry.
Bani doesn't say anything. She turns around to walk out of the room when she suddenly feels giddy and she faints. But as usual jai catches her before she falls to the ground…
Bani woke up to the sunlight that was hitting her face. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up. She looked around the room and her eyes rested on Jai who was sitting in a chair next her, his eyes closed. She stared at him for two minutes and got up to take a shower. She came out wearing a beautiful red sari as today was KC. She felt a little weak, but she ignored it and continued to get dressed.
J: When did u wake up bani?
