We saw a Raman who was feeling left out in his in-laws house where he had become like a son...those little reactions when his inlaws were showering attention on Mani, or Vandu-Ishita talking about Mani...and then Bala kinda rubbed it in...this is no Choosa hua nerdy Aam he's dealing with...he's competing with someone who not only knows every nitty gritty little things about his wife but also his charm works on his inlaws...He was feeling like an outsider...then he decided to take control of the one person who is his...hence the possessiveness during Aaarti. wonderful episode.
